They’re not playing around at Peter & Bobbie’s Fish and Chips… take a peak around the corner and they’re taking a saw to a Halibut, a fish the size of your coffee table. The fries are cut fresh every day and the recipe for their light, crisp batter on the fish is a family secret. I opted to try their Haddock and Chips… the Haddock was very good. I also tried their poutine and it was really good made with cheddar cheese curds.

I was hoping for British style Fish & Chips when I went, and it wasn’t that — no mushy peas — but never the less not a bad meal at all — Halibut in a really nice light batter. Service was friendly, chips were decent though not the best I’ve had — definitely good. They offer poutines that sounded pretty good, and I was intrigued by their halibut sandwich for next time.

We have eaten there many times and the halibut and haddock are very good. Not a huge fan of the chips but they still are not too bad, just not the best chips I have had. They are a Ma and Pa shop that is always consistently good. Enjoy!

The best fish around, the chips could have been a bit better but it’s all about the fish… Which was fantastic.

Always delicious. The kind of place you go out of your way for. I’m not even a fan of fish and chips, but it’s always a treat to get P B’s.
