Bad Service + Bad Food = NO NO NO
I had heard good things about this place from a few friends and decided to try it out tonight for the first time with a different friend. We will never be back…
I want to start of by saying, I am a server so I understand what good service is and am quite forgiving when it comes to bad service, and my friend graduated from culinary school, so she knows food. What we got tonight was not good service, or good food.
Service — First of all our waitress took forever to come to us and take our drink order. I ordered a diet coke and she got it wrong. Then we told her we wanted an appetizer and we ordered our meals at the same time. I also asked for a water.
25 minutes later we got our meals, but no appetizer. We asked her where it was and her response was «since you guys ordered your meals, I thought you didn’t want it.» She asked us if we wanted the appetizer after and we said yes. At this point my friend and I asked for malt vinegar, mustard, and mayonnaise. My water still hadn’t arrived, and our waitress was nowhere to be seen. I asked another waitress if she can bring me water and she said yes. About 10 minutes later our waitress came back and asked if we needed anything. We reminded her about the condiments and I asked her for water AGAIN. The water never came.
When our appetizer platter came it was a disaster (will get into that with food). We asked to speak to the manager. A bearded man came over, I don’t even think he apologized. My friend and I both work in customer service, so we were very hesitant in asking for a manager and very polite while speaking to him. He didn’t seem interested and just took the dish away. Our waitress came back put the bill on our table and walked away quickly. She didn’t ask if we wanted separate bills, which we did. Funny thing, the water that never came was on the bill and charged at $ 0.
Food — Like I said, it was bad service, AND bad food. I got the fish and chips while my friend got a grilled veggie wrap with fries. It took about 25 minutes. When it finally came my fries were pretty cold. They had been sitting ready for a while. My friend’s wrap was swimming in grease. Like the kitchen had put the veggies right on the tortilla without doing anything to get rid of the grease.
We had ordered an appetizer platter which we ended up getting after the meal. It consisted of potato skins, onion rings, garlic bread w/​cheese, and we substituted deep fried pickles instead of wings. I don’t know how long it was sitting in the window, but it was long enough to completely dry out the pickles, and make the cheese soggy and gross. This is a $ 24 platter. It was at that point we asked to speak to a manager, and like I said it seemed like he could care less. We didn’t eat much of it, and luckily he took it off the bill.
We were planning on getting desert, but decided to go somewhere else to get it. We will never be back.

Went on a thursday night. Waitress messed up bill 3x. First bill was short, missing a drink. Second bill was too much, including stuff I didn’t order, 3^rd bill was pretty much the same as the second.
Over 1 hour wait for food (rib+wing daily special, which is an AWESOME price of $ 15). Wings were cold when they got to us.
Asked for water and wetnaps 3x and waitress forgot.
Bill took 20 minutes to arrive.
Waitress should use pen and paper if she can’t remember who got what, it is unacceptable to be messing bills up this much.
Love the place, atmosphere, otherwise (hence the 2 stars). The food and service were not good today.

Went here for wing night, and had a great time. It’s a super busy pub, and is apparently busy every night of the week. Wings were 65 cents each, and they have a large variety of flavors. Drinks and food came quickly, the service was prompt and friendly.
