As Orangeville’s longest running Martial Arts school our goal has always been to provide top quality, down-​to-​earth Karate instruction in a family-​friendly training environment.

Since 1991 Kushindokai Karate has been offering families, couples, and individuals in Orangeville and surrounding areas the chance to gain confidence, develop self-​discipline and focus, and learn valuable skills and life lessons while getting in shape, developing new friendships and having fun.

History

Established in 1991.

Kushindokai Karate opened its doors in 1991, making it Orangeville’s longest running dojo. The school’s beginnings can be traced back to the humble dojo in the basement of the former bowling alley. After a couple of years the school moved to accommodate its growth, and then a few years later changed locations again to the current facility where we train today.

Sensei Michael Fisher was one of Kushindokai Karate’s first students when he started training at the age of nine. He is now the owner and head instructor at the school.
