Winners

Maybe 2.5*, but I shopped here on a Saturday, a coupla hours before closing.
Selection seemed worse than previous visit. There wasn’t a lot in the sections that I usually shop in: Coffee/​Tea/​Snacks, Candles, Makeup, & definitely less shoes and furniture. Nothing super high-​end, but I never looked in the Purse dept.
I spotted a Chi hair straightener for $ 99.99, but when I opened the box, someone had replaced it with a cheap straightener! So there is obviously a theft problem. Not the store’s fault, but it is a shame.
Certain areas like many of the Clearance sections and electronic accessories were quite messy, but then again, it was close to closing time.

Everytime I come here I always find something nice that’s worth buying. Also to me coming here means that I can find a little bit of everything all in one spot. That being said when I come here I always get a little excited when I go to winners.
However, I came here on a weekday to find everything to be a mess. I was looking for a nice pair of boots, and all the sizes were messed up. The 6’s with the 8’s. Men’s shoes mixed with woman’s shoes. I always come here and find this location to be neat, tidy and with everything you’re looking for. It took me a good while to find something that could’ve taken about 20 – 30 mins usually. They should hire more staff to keep this place in shape. Also the merchandise they had was not so good. Which is weird for this location because i almost always walk out of this place with my soon-​to-​be fave sweater, shoes, candles etc.
Other than that I already knew that I had to wait 15 mins in line, and that you need to take the time to actually look through the merch here. Long story short, I ended up walking out with mediocre boots in my hand. I will come back regardless because it’s within walking distance for me, I just hope next time it’s a bit more of a pleasant visit.

Winners is probably where I shop the most. I’ve been to a few which helps me deviate from the ones that are absolutely a waste of time.
This particular Winners is descent if you are here on a weekday. If you happen to come here on a weekend, you will only be getting left over merchandise ¾ weeks old.
All the good stuff comes in on Tuesday/​Wednesday.
The cashiers are quite friendly and regardless of which Winners you end up at, budget in cashier wait time. It will be at least 5−10minutes.
The handbag section is A-​OK.
the makeup/​home section is probably the best here. They have an array of cool soaps and exotic creams for cheap.
The change rooms here is way a nightmare. It’s unisex, so both men and women use the same change rooms — this bothers me.
