History

Established in 2010.

Taste of Colombia is the first store of our parent organization «Fair Trade Colombia» which was created in 2008 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada to represent producers from vulnerable communities in Colombia. To help them bring their products to Canada and to educate about Fair Trade.

We are a green business that believes in fair trade — sustainability and eco friendly practices. We are a coffee & gift shop!

Yury Wu, founder of Fair Trade Colombia and also President of Taste of Colombia Corp. is a fair trader and social entrepreneur that wants to share everything about her native Colombia with her home country: Canada. She hopes to create a channel for producers in Colombia to bring their best products to the Canadian market. Music, Food, Coffee, Quinoa, Accesories made with natural seeds, ponchos, are just some examples of the things you will find this unique store that combines green business practices with corporate social responsibility.
