This Longos never disappoints! It has everything you could possibly need and the fish counter has fabulous selection. The staff at the counter are really well educated and can cut the fish anyway you need it. The produce department has a splendid selection of fruits and vegetables and for the foodie that likes to try new things. They have a bunch of unique fruits and vegetables.

Longo’s is no doubt one of the more expensive grocery store options in Ontario. HOWEVER — if saving a few extra dollars a week isn’t your biggest priority(to me, convenience/shopping experience is more important than saving a few dollars), it is definitely a great option! This particular Longo’s location has recently been built, and has been open for just over a year. That means it’s nice, new, and clean! What I LOVE about this Longo’s are samples(yes, I am saving my additional money by eating my way through all off the sample options) — they always have something at the bakery, and on Saturdays I’m in sample heaven. Added bonus — the wine store there also samples daily! What I don’t love about this Longo’s is that some things are pretty ridiculously priced(but better than the Whole Foods next door), and that sometimes they run out of your basics(really, no chicken breasts?). Overall, this is a great store and the customer service is decent and fast. As a bonus, I’ve heard that the Corks restaurant upstairs is actually pretty decent and has buck a shuck oyster specials!

The latest and largest Longo’s I’ve seen in a while. Fantastic example of a produce department. Great selection of fruits and vegetables, including the non-standard stuff. Store made sushi, their own staff for roasting coffee beans. The deli has some really friendly staff ready to give samples of meats and cheeses they offer. The bakery is as good as ever. Fresh baked breads, cakes, cookies and pastries continue to lure you in. This place will compete directly with Whole Foods just west of here. The amount of organic, gluten-free items has expanded greatly over the smaller Longo’s locations. The drawback is you won’t find PC and or «economy-sized» items here and you will find some items are more expensive than normal. All this and a Starbucks inside
