Located in Downtown Oakville, Lollipop Art Lounge is mainly a creative children’s art studio where it hosts birthday parties for ages 3 – 12 years as well as art + sewing classes, specialty events and workshops. we are also home to a small retail boutique featuring LolliLoot ($ 5 pre-​packaged loot bags) as well as a mini candy bar & gift items.

History

Established in 2005.

Lollipop Art Lounge was previously known as «Lollipop Kid Culture» and the boutique was known for it’s hip and trendy lifestyle items for Children. As the business grew, the demand for a place where children could learn and create in a fun, safe and imaginative space also grew. Lollipop Kid Culture started to incorporate children’s art classes and birthday parties into its growing list of «everything kids». The success of the birthday parties and art classes was instant and eventually lead to a bigger studio space where Lollipop could focus on more of what parents were asking for. Today, they are known as Lollipop Art Lounge and they specialize in art & sewing classes, birthday parties, specialty workshops & camps. They have two locations: Downtown Oakville & Uptown Toronto.

Business Owner

Lollipop is the brainchild of Grace Li. Being trained in classical music, she had dreams of being a music therapist. However, the world of finance seemed more exciting and after obtaining an undergraduate degree in Mathematics majoring in Information Systems & Accounting, she embarked on a 10 year corporate career in finance and accounting. In addition to being married to a talented floral & garden designer, the call to return to the arts and music persisted. The perfect opportunity came when her daughter, Meghan was born — and she answered the call to entrepreneurship by opening up Lollipop kid culture in 2005.

Everything created at Lollipop is inspired by both artists + designers from the past and present and all around the world!
