I should have read the last two reviews before I committed to Anneliese. My first encounter with Anneliese was pleasant. She was had a lot of vintage items in her inventory. I chose my items and I paid her 50% of my balance. She was quick to take my $$. However, as I counted down the days to my wedding, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of her. I had called her and emailed her numerous times. I was beginning to panic, as it was literally days before my wedding. She had made arrangements to meet me at my wedding location 2 weeks before my wedding but she did not call or show up the first time. On this day, she was also to lend me a large mirror, to write guest names but did not bring it along with her. She ensured me that she would deliver it soon but did not follow-up. I called her numerous times but she was avoiding me again. Two days before the wedding, I had to drive to her warehouse to pick up the mirror myself. Even on this day, she was 2 hours late! That day, she also informed me that the pair of Gatsby chairs that I had reserved for my day was damaged recently and needed to be reupholstered. They would not be reupholstered in time for my wedding day. I was devastated. These specific chairs was the sole reason I wanted to rent to from this company. She tried to compensate by lending me additional complementary items. It was not the ideal situation but it was my only option, days before my wedding. On the day of my wedding, she was to deliver my items at 11am. She was an hour late and on top of that, during the delivery, she had broken 10 of the 20 glass centerpiece votives that I had reserved. She«claims» that she had gotten into an accident and items were shifted in her truck and broke. Clearly, she didn’t protect the glass items well for delivery. Even then, she still charged me for renting the 10 votives. She did not compensate me for the headache I endured on the day of my wedding. My wedding came together, but only minutes before my ceremony. She was the least professional of all the wedding vendors. Never had I thought, that a «company» would have such poor customer service and management skills. Although, Anneliese has a good selection of vintage finds, she needs to organization of her company.
