Zaffron Restaurant has been in business since the late 1990s. Our business utilizes natural charcoal barbecue to cook our halal meat.
We have a variety of kebobs: chicken (Breast or Leg), lamb (Shank or Lamb Rack (Shandiz), beef (Barg, Koobideh, Chengeh), Veggie, and Seafood.
We also offer a variety of fresh fish: salmon, rainbow trout, and white fish.
We are vegetarian friendly!
We have freshly made stews, served with basmati rice (Fesenjan, Ghorme Sabzi, and Ghaime), and soups (Barley, and Daily Chef Soup),
Our wood oven is continuously utilized to bake our famous flat bread, and also is used to make thin crust pizzas.
We offer live music (english, turkish, spanish, english) with dance floor on fridays and saturdays starting 9pm… no cover, reservation recommended!
History
Established in 1998.
Our family originally originated from Iran, moving here in the late 80s. We started a café, and saw that there were no restaurants that allowed our iranian cuisine to be shared with the world. We decided to open up a small restaurant at Yonge and Steeles and bring our homemade flavours in an upscale atmosphere.
