Platis Dry Cleaner

I love these guys. They do pickups/​deliveries to local condos.
I usually get them to «laundry» my dress shirts, as dry cleaning in general is 4 times more than regular laundry. Its about 2.50 or so a shirt for laundry.
Parking is a bit of a pain, but i hear they are going to add parking across the front of that building.
Great staff. Definitely recommended.

This place is a little bit expensive for my taste, though they are offering a 30% off promotion right now. My dresses, for example, cost $ 16.95 each (full price, without the discount). To be fair, these prices are in line with what other cleaners in the area offer, particularly the dry cleaner at the Loblaws across the street.
Service-​wise, the employees are very friendly and accomodating, but unfortunately my clothes were not ready on the date specified. I brought in my items on Friday and was told I could pick them up on Monday at 5. On Monday, only 3 of 5 items were ready, as a couple of the dresses «needed more time». I wasn’t really impressed, but they were quite apologetic about the situation. The other two items arrived on Wednesday and they were able to deliver it to my condo in the area. I’m told they do pick-​up and delivery for the neighbouring condos free of charge. (Sidenote: you feel a bit pretentious going to your doorman and asking if your dry cleaning has arrived.)
The parking situation is a bit tricky. The front of the store faces the street (Sheppard), and there is *some* parking in the back (maybe 10 — 15 spots at most), but it’s shared with all of the other businesses, as well as those visiting the senior’s home who don’t read instructions and are too lazy to park in the underground lot.
