Not Just Yogurt

Driving around the area looking for something that is open after 9 pm to satisfy my sweet tooth is not an easy task… especially somewhere I never been Unilocal about? Not easy!!!
Who in the right mind would have wanted to eat Fro Yo… though Spring is here but definitely I am not feeling that in the air. But Not Just Yogurt’s OPEN sign seems like a blessing when we drove by…
This neighbourhood looked deserted… with occasionally bearded men wearing all black suits and hats roaming the street… not my usual scene…
Luckily, Not Just Yogurt was opened… the sign said «We are Open Saturdays Night, One hour after Shabbat till Midnight!» The kind man at the counter greeted us… 4 frozen yo flavours available for the night and some ice creams too…
Non-​fat Deluce de leche and low-​fat Peanut Butter (small size $ 3.49)
— Now now… this is not the time to sacrifice taste over calories or fat content!
— Low Fat PB is so so so much better… a lot more creamier and just taste like I am licking some real whipped peanut butter…
— Non-​fat Deluce de leche was just Meh… just lacking the rich creamy feel and the taste wise was quite bland… think drinking Diet soda!
The decoration is a little dated… like a 70s ice cream parlour… oh I should not know how a 70s ice cream parlour looked like? Should I?

Unlike my Friend over there, I do not web-​search, call, reserve to determine where, what, when I will eat next. My method seemed to serve well in this scenario as I noticed a Yogurt spot in the middle of somewhere that was quite calm uninhabited. My method is simple… Look for lights in the establishment, walk inside. As I back-​tracked, I noticed the lonely Male-​staff through the window sitting there peaking through the Dessert Display looking to the road for the next customer if any.
As we walked towards the Light, I couldn’t quite make out the Logo/​Alphabets on the Neon sign. I thought I was not in Toronto anymore but later found out it could be something Jewish related. Stepping inside, we found this to be a pure Kosher Dessert Shop as the Man greeted us and told me about the 4 Froyo choices of the night (Dulce de Leche, Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate & Vanilla).
As we settled in this Kiddy but worn-​out interior, you’ll find a Fridge of pre-​packaged Ice Cream, Froyo and a Cake or two. As I sat down I looked out where the street should be to see what the staff has been looking at all day. Reflective Window meant he must have been admiring himself all night barely realizing how many vehicles passed him by.
Remember everything here is KOSHER which reminds me of the time when a Kid probed Menchie’s about their documentation of their Kosher status. Not Just Yogurt would have made life enjoyable for the Kid.

Both quite Thick reminds me of McFlurry consistency.
My Friend didn’t like Non-​Fat Dulce de Leche as much.
It didn’t have enough of the sweetness but maybe for the better.
I was doing her a Favour eating the Low-​Fat Peanut Butter Cup.
I sacrifice myself so she can stay her NON-​Fat self.
Peanut Butter Cup was the tastier of the two options.
To my Unilocal Friend: They had Ice Cream Parlours in the 70s too, who knew?
