A no-​frills Italian «supermarket» tucked away in a North Toronto subdivision. I highly recommend them for their catering service.
Brioni was suggested to me by a friend for making some of the best lasagna in the city — and they didn’t let me down.
I ordered a medium ricotta & spinach lasagna — baked fresh the morning I picked it up – that fed six adults very well. At least five layers and it weighed a ton. The owners were quite friendly and even carried the lasagna out to my car for me.
Extremely well-​priced at $ 35, I’ll definitely return to Brioni the next time I’m looking for homemade lasagna in a pinch. So good.
