In the Imaginarium, there is no right and wrong answer; there are no good or bad ways to create something; and there isn’t even a possibility for the impossible. Every class will begin with a half hour to an hour of trust and confidence building activities. These activities will help foster an atmosphere where children feel safe to try new things, work together, problem solve and create. We will spend time each class having the children look for and voice one another’s strengths and talents. We will then move to the creation part of our program. Children will be asked how they enjoy expressing themselves, wether it be, art, acting (we call it pretending), building, photography, sewing, crafting, dancing, or any other form of artistic expression their little hearts desire. Once they have chosen what it is that makes them passionate, we introduce a theme, (the future, the circus, the environment etc.) Working together they will create a project to tell an orginal story based on this them

Established in 2013.

As a mother, I know how important it is to teach our children how to be independent thinkers, and to give them the space and freedom to solve problems on their own. Our program offers a less structured alternative to the modern arts class. Our goal is to help your child to discover their artistic voice, and gently guide them in solving the logical problems of bringing their imaginings into reality. We offer a vast assortment of materials, most of which were materials that were destined to end up as garbage for whatever reason. This is for a number of reasons; for starters, we could all use a little eco-​friendliness in our lives! Two; by offering children opportunities to change something like a milk jug into a work of art is going to make their imaginations work a little harder, and encourage them to reconsider the possibilities of the items we consider ‘waste’. I am a mother, an artist and an imagineer. I attended college for Theater, and have been a creative writer, and maker of things for as long as I can remember. I have one amazing little girl, and love being around children and those who never grew up.
