Martial Arts: Authentic Jujutsu /Ju-jitsu/Jiu-jiutsu
Contact us now for a fee class.
For functional self-defence and personal growth try authentic Jujutsu at Seishi Teppei Jujutsu Kai, the traditional martial art of the Japanese warrior.
Many modern systems of Ju-jitsu /Jiu-jiutsu etc., while often effective, are not authentic. Rather they are recent syncretic arts derived from other modern styles such as Judo, Karate and Aikido. At the Seishi Teppei Jujutsu Kai on the other hand, the student receives instruction in an authentic Jujutsu system with a verifiable lineage and no blending with other styles.
Jujutsu as taught at the Jujutsu Kai is not a sport but is intended for real world application. It does not require superior strength and conditioning to be effective. Authentic Jujutsu uses strikes, throws, locks, and grappling techniques based on leverage and other principles for practical self-defence. Seishi Teppei Jujutsu Kai builds confidence, coordination, and skill, in a focused but friendly environment suitable for adults and teenagers (15+).
Small classes are taught by an instructor with 30 years of experience in Jujutsu and Judo. The Dojo is fully equipped with wall to wall mats, washroom and change room facilities and easy access to on-street parking.
Three classes are offered per week (5 ½ hrs). No contracts required. $ 105 per month.
Please contact us to arrange a free class. No previous martial arts experience required.
