Specialties

In business since 1999, Netcetera provides «business to business» outsourced IT technical services including managed services, on demand services, and project work. Our core strengths included network security, storage, backup and disaster recovery, wireless, network design, virtualization, MS Exchange, O365, and Active Directory for Microsoft based networks. We work with clients with 10 — 2500 users and at least 1 Windows server.

History

Established in 1999.

Like many small businesses, Netcetera was incorporated in 1999 in the basement of the owners home. However, within a couple years we leased offices in lower Lonsdale and more recently purchased our current office space in Harbourside. Staying true to our core values and our philosophy of being the best in the world at what we do has helped us to grow and be profitable every year, win a number of industry awards, retain our clients and our staff for the long term. In the early days we made a decision to continually offer training to our staff, sell only products we actually use ourselves and to use the best technology tools available. This has enabled us to earn the trust of both our clients and the manufacturers we represent.

Meet the Business Owner

Steve W.

Business Owner

Steve began his IT career in 1980 after completing a diploma program in computer programming on IBM compatible Mainframe’s. However, he decided early on to move into the technology consulting and sales role taking positions with MAI Basic Four, Maves Corporation, Sierra Systems Consultants and Data General before venturing out on his own with Netcetera in the late 1990’s.

Today, Steve’s primary focus is delivering great value for our clients, by training and empowering our employees, ensuring we have the best tools available and treating our primary manufacturing partners including DELL, Aruba, Datto, Sophos, SonicWALL, HP, and Microsoft better than any one else.
