Such a nice find. A local shop, run by the bake himself. I came in here on a whim while walking by one day. I bought a variety of items and on my way out, the owner stopped us, and handed us a cookie. I got excited like a little kid getting a lollipop! Overall, my favorite was a fried dough, similar to a funnel cake but filled with a yogurt and drenched with honey. YUM!

Was on a walk to the bank when we saw this bakery. I said that if it was still open after grabbing coffee, we would wander in. Luckily it was still open. Their window is jam packed with sweets, as are their cases. I think they assume that the people coming in would know the names of the pastries. Nope, not at all. I pointed at the things and hoped for the best. I was in the mood for baklava, but I saw flaky pastry filled with cream and asked for that. Yum. That was the best thing out of all the pastries we got. The cream wasn’t overly sweet, but the pastry wasn’t as flaky as I would have like it. Then again, what do I know… I have no idea what I got and how it’s supposed to be. We got a slice of cake. It had yellow jello on top, with a piece of fruit decorating it(we got cherry, but there was also pineapple and two other fruits). There cake was layered with cream and pineapple in the middle. I got my baklava. Success… well, it was okay. Not the greatest because it had a different flavour. I ordered one piece, but she gave us three. I guess that’s one order. I am not sure what the prices were for any of these, but for all three pieces, it was $ 7.51 including tax. Since there weren’t any signs indicating what the desserts were, I am not surprised there weren’t any prices. I would go back because there are so many other things I want to try. Cookies… other pastries… and I think I saw some honey for sale.
