I come all the way from Port Moody to see him. I used to live in Burnaby — still a bit of a trip — but he’s so good I don’t feel it’s worth it to change to a dentist closer to me. (That and he knows my history — have been seeing him for over 10 years! Back in high school!!)
And his receptionists — where does he find them? They’re always AMAZING!!! One lady (Michelle — she was going on maternity leave when I was there last year, hopefully she comes back) I hadn’t seen in about 2 years and she remembered me when I came in!!! Asked how I have been since last time she saw me my beloved dog passed away, noted that she really liked my hair, she remembered it was shorter last time I saw her… Like really? Why is she so awesome!!!
I heard from my mom her replacement isn’t as awesome which is sad but she was new so hopefully she’s better now. Either way, besides reception, the techs are always amazing as well. Everyone there is just so personable and fun and make me feel 100% at ease when I’m there.
Like I said, WORTH THE TRIP from PoMo to N. Van.

Alan is a fantastic Dentist. I was planning on changing to a Dentist closer to my home when my former Dentist retired, but Alan is so good at his job that I have kept travelling from Port moody to North Vancouver for the last 25 years. His skill is top notch; I have had Specialists comment to me that his work is excellent. He updates his training, skills and equipment. He is also a very friendly and pleasant person. Call for an appointment if you are in need of Dental Services.
