FAST Hospitality Event Services

I would also like to rate FAST Hospitality Event Services zero stars because I received none of the services I paid for. I’m not even sure if they’re a real company and not a scam. I hired them in April 2015 to serve food at my wedding reception in June, 2015. Thank God we got food catered from another business because THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. That’s right, on the day of the wedding, my wife, about 75 of our friends and family, and I descended on Peace Arch State Park in Blaine, Washington to celebrate our nuptials, but the servers did not join us.
Back in April, I sorted all the details out with Daniel Tennant (not sure if this is a real person or a real name) of FAST. I asked if FAST’s servers could cross the border to do this event, and Tennant assured me they could. We decided on what attire the servers would wear, what time I needed them to be there, how many I would need, and what exactly I would need them for. I paid a percentage of the total cost as a deposit and thought it was a done deal.
My wife and I had a brunch reception. We arrived at the venue at 9, with the servers scheduled to arrive at 10, and the festivities scheduled to begin at 11. About twenty minutes after ten, standing around in my suit trying to help set up, I started to worry. I pulled Tennant’s phone number and called. No answer. A friend of mine called about 20 more times and left multiple messages. Eventually, the calls went directly to voicemail, as if someone was hitting «ignore» over and over. At eleven, when it was clear the FAST’s servers would not show up with no explanation whatsoever, my family and in-​laws all pitched in to serve the food. After everyone had eaten, again with no servers, everyone pitched in and washed dishes. Who wants to wash dishes and serve food at a wedding reception?
At about 6:30, 8.5 hours after Daniel Tennant’s servers from FAST were supposed to show up, I got an email from him saying, «I just found out, your servers did not make it make it to the event to fulfill your order. I am not sure what the details are but I will follow up some answers. I will credit back your credit card deposit first thing Monday morning. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Daniel»
Oh, it’s nothing, except for the inconvenience of making everyone who traveled from as far as New York City to Blaine, Washington to celebrate my wedding serve the food and wash the dishes, which I hired you to do!
Monday came and went. No credit back on my card. Only after I sent an angry email threatening legal action did Tennant refund my deposit. He should also pay my family and friends for the work they did on my wedding day.
FAST is completely unprofessional and may or may not show up for your wedding reception. DO NOT HIRE THEM EVER!!! Again, based on the service (or lack there of) I received, I haven’t seen any clear evidence that FAST is an actual company with customers and employees. If FAST is really not a scam, it needs to go out of business right now so that more wedding guests don’t have to do their job for them.

I gave this company one star because I couldn’t give it no stars.
If you value your life and your money stay as far away from these people as possible.
To go into detail would take to long, way to long. Their food is awful, there service is frightening, the presentation is deplorable and organization is non existent.
I ate at a road side taco stand in a little dump of a town in Mexico. That food was five star compared to this. Stay clear!!!
