Established in 2009.

Born and raised, then trained and now working all in North Vancouver, Dave Clauson started Cove Power in 2009 and has grown its presence steadily ever since. What started as a one-​man operation servicing individual clients has expanded to a team of qualified and apprenticing electricians working with more than twenty general contractors and hundreds of home-​owners throughout the North Shore, Vancouver and Burnaby. I have been in retail business for 18 years and know what value it is to have good trades show up and get the job done. A friend recommended Dave and I have to say Cove Power is the most professional, efficient up front electrical company I have ever dealt with. I bought a fan on
on a friends advice and once it arrived figured it was over my head to do the installation. I got a hold of Dave and he explained the ins and outs of retro fitting and made some suggestions. After some discussion, he was willing to install my fan and had his electrician Luke arrive with a back up fan in case mine wasn’t ideal. The fan they arrived with was a no brainer replacement over the one my friend recommended and it took about half the time I thought it would take to install. Their fan was ½ the noise and twice the output, stuff I didn’t even consider based on my friends advice. He also switched my track lighting to install a pendant lamp and warned me that the track may leave a outline on the ceiling (which they always do). I can’t say enough on how much easier it is to have a professional give advice, do the job on time and get it done. Thanks guys for the excellent work. You’ll be our strata building electricians now as well as it seems so had to get reliable trades in these days.
