Had an emergency today on the Highway as I was cutting through North Vancouver. A serpentine belt snapped, probably from a seized pulley, which also was destroyed, and the accessory belt went as well. I am from Richmond, know my way around this car and this repair pretty good, I could have done it myself easily enough, … except that I was a long way from home. I found Chellis on CL while I was sitting on the side of the road letting the engine cool down, he was close, a few minutes away, so I once the engine cooled down, I went for it.
Mid afternoon now, he had another car ahead of me, but he recognized my emergency, and took the car in right away.
I found a nearby Starbucks, went and killed a few hours while he got the parts in and fixed my cars.
Done quickly, he actually gave me a nice break on the price, and I was on my way back to Richmond. Home for supper.
I highly recommend Chellis.
