BCAA’s main business is various forms of insurance, and it seems all insurance companies make sure they have lots of loopholes to avoid a payout.
With towing insurance, they have various prices for which they will tow you 5 km or up to 160 km, however in all cases the loophole is that they expect to take you to the «nearest repair facility» and it is them not you that decides what is an appropriate facility.
With their emergency medical travel insurance, they will instantly inform you that it is your responsibility to find any or all other insurance company that may be liable in your case, and not to bug them until your have letters of refusal from these. And should you manage to walk out of the hospital and then collapse on the steps (or have some kind of complication or recurrence before you are able to get home) that is tough — they only cover the health problem «once».

I have had a membership for 10 years and have at least needed them once every year for various situations and they have always pulled through. If you’re a member the rates are very reasonable and the service has always been friendly, especially in a stressful situation. I find that sometimes the guys know more than the mechanics themselves. Thanks for 10 years of consistent service in tough situations.

BCAA is generally a good company with terrific service. The vehicle inspection service is what gives this review five stars. For all it entails it’s priced really fairly and the driver/​inspector will go to site to perform the inspection and then discuss it afterward. I should also add that a printable report is emailed.
Highly recommended – this service has saved me money.

I wanted to review BCAA because I have been using them for 2 years. I am a new driver and having BCAA is like having a friend with a tow truck. I have never had to wait more than 30 – 60 minutes. The drivers are always friendly and professional. I never worry when I am on the road because I know I have BCAA. This is one of the wisest purchases you can make for you and your car.
