Bare Elegance Med Spa

Having had many laser hair removal treatments at other facilities previously I did not expect a problem. After this one I had a third degree burn on my upper lip. I cancelled the rest of my groupon and I will never ever return to this place.

This was THE most stressful «spa experience» I have EVER endured! I went for a facial & infared sauna which was fine (nothing special). in the end I was told «This is the last day for this special price, if you want it for your next one, you should pay today» So, I did. I then got a call that I owed them the taxes and would have to pay more so I in turn said «You have a payment of $ 100 for the next treatment, can you please take it out of there and then I will just come and get a refund of the remainder of the balance» It has been over 1 mo and still have not received a refund. Instead, despite the numerous voice mails, e-​mails sent to the manager I did not receive any word. And when I finally did get a hold of her via phone, she told me to retract my review otherwise I would hear from her lawyer and get sued. She was very rude and started yelling at me over the phone and said not to step on her property or I would be arrested. I then told her if she needed my money that bad, she could keep it that the whole ordeal was stressing me out. I had almost lost faith in customer service but since then I have been to some pretty amazing spas (one in particular) and great places to eat on the North Shore! The reason I paid for the next treatment was I enjoyed the infared sauna & there are not too many out there on the North shore to enjoy. But in the end, it just was not worth the headache or stress to go to this place where the manager clearly does not know anything about customer service or a desire to improve it.
