Business Owner

As once a young violin student, an older viola student, and now a teacher of both instruments, I have been involved with music nearly my entire life and greatly value the importance of it. My musical education started with fiddle lessons when I was 7, leading to classical violin when I was 12, and eventually a degree in viola performance.

I had the opportunity to study viola very in depth with Christine Vlajk while at Wilfrid Laurier University. These experiences as a student, education in string pedagogy, and my own experience private teaching over the last 3 years to build a strong foundation as a professional violin and viola teacher.

After a few years living in Ottawa and maintaining my private studio I’ve relocated to the Niagara Falls/​St. Catharines area to rebuild and to guide a new group of students through hopefully a lifetime journey of music!
