This place is in the lobby of the Sheraton so you would expect it to be busy and it is. However the service here was abysmal and the staff was snarky. I ordered 2 iced teas and a hot tea — easy enough. I asked for a «large» and the guy seemed annoyed I didn’t use their«venti» language. I was tired — forgive me. So I asked for a cup holder since I had 3 cups and only 2 hands. The woman behind the counter snapped«we are out!» Then she said it would be 5 minutes before someone could go in the back to get more. I was annoyed but waited. I didn’t want to spill scalding hot water on myself juggling the drinks. Meanwhile 2 employees sat there doing nothing. I continued to wait. A few minutes later the snarky woman told me they are completely out of trays. No apology. So I handed her one of my drinks and told her I needed a refund. She looked at me dazed and confused. I explained I only had 2 hands and there was no way I could carry 3 drinks so I was returning one. She sent me over to get in line where people were ordering because she couldn’t help me. I will say that the last gentleman I encountered proceeded to give me my refund and an apology. I guess they have a captive audience in his circus of a hotel and perhaps they aren’t required to adhere to the stringent Starbucks rules on customer service. Disgraceful.
