Although it’s unlikely that you will spend more than 30 minutes at this clock, I still think it’s a fun place to stop! It’s certainly not worth driving far out of your way for, but I would definitely recommend stopping by for a bit if you’re in the area!
The clock is kept perfectly clean and maintained. Whoever is responsible does a flawless job. In addition to the clock, I love the surrounding pond with fish and lily pads.
A lot of people pack picnic lunches and sit on the lawn. If you don’t do that, it’s pretty much just a quick stop for a group photo and watching the clock chime when the hour changes.

You won’t spend a lot of time here. There is not much to do here besides taking a picture next to the clock. It is worth doing if in the area, but I wouldn’t make any particular effort to get here.

Gosh. I think I was only here for about five minutes. HUGE letdown. I think it’s just worth coming here for a quick picture and just to say that you’ve been here. It is a free attraction with free parking, so I guess that’s a plus.
This clock actually works and you can see the hands moving. This clock has been around since like the 1950s, so it is somewhat historic. It gets redecorated like twice a year with flowers of all sorts. It’s in the middle of nowhere really. It is near a well-​manicured grassy areas with bushes and little trees, but not much else to see.
If you’re around the area and have extra time to kill, then stop by this Niagara Falls landmark. If not, you won’t miss out on much.

Worth a picture. Not quite sure why its there kinda in the middle of nowhere. Seems to be a mandatory stop on the tour bus circuit. Nice place to get a (overpriced) drink while biking if u didn’t bring water.

While visiting Niagara Falls a few days ago we decided to visit the floral clock. I remembered how beautiful it was when we saw it about 15 years ago.
While the clock and grounds are kept so perfect, the water in front of it was stagnant, gross, and had no fish like some of the pictures. It was pretty sad the the display is so well taken care of yet the water (fountain?) is not attended to.

Flower time! Convenient and free attraction between Niagara Falls and Niagara-​On-​The-​Lake. Easy it get to, parking available, and you can even just do a drive-​by.

It’s a nice clock in a bouquet of flowers, I admit. I also admire the history behind it.
However, it’s one of those attractions where you’re pretty much done after 10 minutes. It’s only a clock, and there’s nothing around the area. It is free though, so that’s a bonus.
One thing I do like about the clock, amazingly, isn’t the clock itself, but the goldfish in the creek surrounding the clock. It caught many of us by surprise, and half of the time there I spent taking photos of the goldfish because they just look so cute!
It’s one of those «you should definitely do once» things, but once you’ve accomplished this place there’s no real attraction of coming back here.

Nice free attraction in Niagara Falls. There is a cute pond at the base of the clock where there are some nice looking goldfish and water plants. It is a nice place to take a break and people watch.

I’m sure I would have rated it higher if they decided to take care of it year round. Maybe I’m spoiled having went to a school that had the same concept on their grounds, but had the forethought to actually change the plants seasonally so that the appearance was maintained year round. We had a chance to visit this «attraction» mid November. It looked as though it had been abandoned and that fall maintenance was not in the budget. Disappointing.

The clock was inspired by then Ontario Hydro chairman, Dr. Richard L. Hearn and was based on the famous clock built in Princess Street Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1903. The clock is the largest type of its kind in the world. It is three times the size of the clock in Scotland.
The floral clock is the most random yet cool thing besides the actual falls in Niagara. During the warmer months they plant hardier (albeit uglier) plants and in the cooler months they plant daintier flowers. You can walk inside the clock and see all the workings, and the arms of the clock are in the shape of crutches as a memorial to those with (I believe) polio.
