Nice & cheap with some extras such as a fridge, MW, and LCDTV. M’lady and I stayed at a nearby motel for two nights, and she wasn’t feeling well when we were about to get on our way, so we decided to try this one. This was about 3 weeks ago or so. The price was very reasonably, although the size of the room was quite tiny in comparison to the other motel we had just stayed at down the street($ 10 cheaper per night than the other place). They did actually charge us a bit more for«taxes» than the standard 13%, so that was a tad odd. Also we only had two face cloths in the washroom along with two body towels, so no hand towels, and as an added bonus, they were using a PVC pipe as a towel rack :-D It would’ve been nice if their pool was still open, but I guess the summer season had more or less just ended. The bath tub looked quite old and yellowed out. It was the cheapest room they had in terms of price, and it kind of showed, but I’m still happy with the price I paid for it. The staff was definitely friendly, especially the older gentleman who answers the phone who I initially spoke when I wanted to see what time their check-in was. I was pleasantly surprised with their response: you can come now(it was about 11:30 A.M. where-as the other place we had stayed at had extra charge for checking in before their check-in time, which was mid-afternoon. BTW just a side-note on the TV: it was nice to actually stay at a motel that had a modern enough TV with an HDMI slot so that I could hook my laptop in and watch stuff off of it, as most motels have an old CRT type TV which predates the HDMI standard(especially m’lady was sick the entire day, so we were cooped up inside with nothing to do while she recovred) :-D So all-in-all, I’d stay there again if I was looking for an affordable little room to stay in.
