Delicious not gourmet but damn it’s friggin mouthwatering. I decided to get the fruit market lemonade(so great!) and a whole bunch of sides such as they’re crispy and delicious sweet fries, crisp to perfection and not oily. The mushrooms on a skillet are flavorful and totally worth ordering cause the portion is a meal in itself. I also had the cornbread which was tasty and moist. Meg is the perfect server and management is really sweet. The bathrooms are clean and so are the booths and tables; Silverware and cups too! My hubby had a bison burger which left him completely satisfied. We were stuffed by the end of our meal so we couldn’t fit dessert such as the mile high mud pie but we will definitely be back!

PLEASEDONTEATHERE!!! thee worst experience I’ve ever had eating out at a Chained restaurant. The Waitress was godawful… She was constantly playing on her phone and didn’t know anything regarding the food on the menu. Also the most important part of eating out is of course the FOOD. Firstly I would like to mention I found a hair in my soup and for my main course(Jambalaya) it was beyond dry and not to mention how over cooked the chicken, shrimp and Sausages were. I’d rather eat a bowl of nails with no milk then have to suffer eating at this 0 star, dive cookhouse. Manager was extremely nice I must add she gave a discount for the brutal service.

Never coming here again! We came here on New Year’s Eve around 1am and there were a few people waiting. They said 10−15mins waiting time but we waited a total of an hour. Then someone who just came in was seated before us, like what the hell?! I stayed calm and patient because it was New Year’s Eve. I told her that we came first and waited for almost an hour. Instead of giving us the table she said we will get the next available. So we waited again. Then new customers came in and they were called up before us — AGAIN! How can she messed it up twice! This was crazy! We went up before they seated the new customers and we finally got seated. We thought now we finally get to enjoy our food and to our disappointment the nachos that we ordered as an appetizer was stone cold and dry. It looked like it was standing there for a long time and they didn’t even bother heating it up! So we sent it back. We waited another 15−20mins. The couple who was«accidentally» seated before even though they came after us already finished their meal while we were still waiting for our appetizer. And the nachos weren’t even great. Barely any toppings. After waiting so long for everything and getting cold food we decided to eat our main somewhere else. We talked to the manager and she wasn’t even friendly, nor did she apologize. However, our waitress was very friendly, which was the only good thing about this place. We tipped her well because she was nice. But wouldn’t have tipped at all based on this awful experience. Never coming again.

Well we were extremely hungry and this was the only place that looked good and busy. We sat by the bar where there we two wide screen tvs available. Ordered burgers and sandwiches which was absolutely delicious. Ordered the BBQ breezed which was a Bloody Mary topped with sugar coated bacon. Wow it was awesome. Everything was delicious, but wished they had pickles for our sandwiches. Staff was also pleasant, bathrooms were clean!

Awful service. Incredibly slow, inaccurate drink orders, and inconsistently made mixed drinks. My menu had no pages in it, just cardboard. A couple sat down next to us and nobody helped them for 10 minutes so they just left.

BY far my favorite place to eat at the falls. Food is great, drinks are good, location is excellent and most of all Monica is a great server. Very Friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

Went here for lunch and it was good. Four adults acting like kids because they give you crayons to draw on the table. Service was good, our waitress was friendly, although did not know much of what beer they had in stock. I got a cheeseburger with guac, and a passionfruit margarita. Other things we ordered were steak pouting, chicken tacos, and ribs. No one had any complaint. Well, the dressing in the caesar side salad was a bit off, but overall good! We were stuffed! We came the next morning for their breakfast buffet. At $ 7.99 each we thought, why not. We only had one plate because it just wasn’t that great. The best thing was the tater tots. Sausage was burnt black, and the pancakes were just nasty! Lunch it’s an okay place, breakfast just avoid it and go to ihop!

We were going to go somewhere else our last night in Niagara Falls. First choice was closed so we stopped here. We got seated right away it was a Monday at 800p. Server took a few to get there but other than that service was good. We had chic tenders and fries and I had bbq chicken fajitas. Both were good. Not bad not great. I would go back.

I am with others, the pics look delicious, but the food is not. We shared our meal since we couldn’t decide what to order. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the Canadian burger. Nothing like the picture. The burger kinda looked like the frozen type with 1 really small thin piece of Canadian bacon. I am used to getting pulled pork where it is oozing out the sides and messy. Not the case here to say the least. Very thin layer of pulled pork, it was more like they put the pork in the blender, not pulled at all. The garlic roll of the pulled pork sandwich had more taste than the pork itself. The only good thing about our meal were the fries, in which they were very generous. The beer and margaritas drinks were good and the service was good. Other than that, I would not come back there. Very over priced for what you get, but we figured that since we were in a tourist trap. Don’t mind paying for over priced food, but not when we don’t enjoy our meal.

Tonight was my second time at this location and it was just as good as the first. I am actually surprised to read some of the poor reviews of this place. The service was great both times, the food is excellent. It is a bit over priced, but it is right in the tourist district and if you have ID proving you are a resident of Niagara Falls, you get a 15% discount. I had a steak and loaded baked potato, spinach dip app, and the chocolate cake… all was wonderful, and I like my steak mooing and trying to run away, and this was one of the few places that got it right the first time!

Drinks were pretty good– got the blush sangria– on the sweet side but still manageable! Definitely recommend that. The service was pretty good, vert attentive and friendly. The food was all right– seriously, DON’T get the steaks though… I wanted to splurge a little and get the ribeye– just didn’t cut it, ordered medium well and it was cooked all the way. I’d compare it to Applebees steak status.

The foods are okay for me and my friends. The servers are also friendly. If they can only serve the foods a little bit faster as most people goes there a bit hungry after having a walk at the famous Niagara Falls and other stuffs.

It’s too bad I can’t give this 0 stars… After enjoying a wonderful day with my family in Niagara Falls we made the huge mistake of sitting down to dinner at Montana’s at 5759 Victoria Ave Niagara Falls, ON. The evening as a whole was to say the least extremely disappointing. We were barely greeted at the door and the only interaction the hostess had with us was when she asked if we wanted a table or a booth, we were a party of 6. We placed our drink orders which came to us fairly quickly, then our food order which took a while to get to our table. We started eating already disappointed with the poor representation of the food on the menu vs. what the food actually was when my 7 year old nephew said his chicken fingers tasted funny and we then noticed they were COMPLETELYRAW. we immediately made him spit out what he had in his mouth and we alerted the first staff member we saw who happened to be the hostess. She was completely uninterested or concerned and her response to us was«why are you yelling at me it’s not my problem» After much apologizing the manager’s solution was to offer unspecified discounts to the bill which we were still forced to pay, after my nephew was served raw chicken. We will never return to this establishment, if you do decide to eat there make sure to check all your food before putting it in your mouth. We can only hope that there are no serious consequences with my nephew following this horrible experience. The only good thing about the evening was our wonderful server.

We stopped in here for a few drinks and a light lunch. The service wasn’t bad and the décor was nice. Overall I would say an average experience.

Been to other Montanana’s so figure we’d give it a shot. So first off we were there during FIFA and that would have caused some issues… First off we walked in and you couldn’t tell who was actually working there. There were six people standing around at the table talking and then after about a minute asked if how many… So not impressed, then the person that was to bring us to our table, grabbed the menus and walked off, and the other person started to ask the next group. They questioned why we were waiting and then they realized that we hadn’t heard the person… You would figure when you bring someone to your table you’d at least check to make sure that they are going with you… We got just some apps, the shrimp, the spinach dip and the nachos. Everything was fine except for the nachos. There was more cheese on the paper than the chips, and worse of all it was over cooked… I want my nachos to be cheesy not burnt to a crisp… But it was ok, very basic nachos…

I can’t speak on the food because me & my partner didn’t end up eating here. We went in to look at the menu to see if we could find something to eat with are dietary restrictions & we didn’t even get through the menu because the staff was rather catty. We left & ended up getting food at the subway down the street. Much nicer staff!

This place gives off a Texas Roadhouse vibe so we decided to check it out while on a weekend trip to Niagara Falls. This place is not even close. The menu looks good, it was hard to choose what to have for dinner, it all sounded great. What was presented in the menu was far from what we actually received. We both ordered ribeye steaks, I had a baked potato and baked beans, my husband had garlic mash and corn. The steaks were cooked nicely. They do not have A1 sauce, only their house brand steak sauce which tasted more like barbeque sauce and was very sweet. It totally masked the flavor of the meat and there was no alternative sauce to choose from. My baked potato was so overcooked it was actually hard on the outside. The baked beans were hard, stale and tasted a few days old. My husband enjoyed his mashed potatoes, he said the corn had no flavor. The food was way below average, not at all what was advertised. Our server was nice, but not very quick to serve us. We were one of 4 tables in the whole place full of servers and we had to wait a long time for drinks, to place our order, for refills and for the check. It should have been a quick experience, but took a lot longer than expected. Overall, I would much rather spend $ 80 on anything else, I would not go back to this place, I would not recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I only gave 2 stars because I really thought the steak was good, other than that 1 star even seems a little too nice.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. We had to meet back up with the fogies eating at the Sheraton in an hour. Observing the Niagara strip, my expectations were pretty nill, but Montana’s far exceeded my dismal view of the dining options in this amusingly kitschy tourist trap! You’d think 45 minutes would be enough time to eat lunch here, but I advise anyone walking into Montana’s to allow at least 2 – 3 hours for a one course meal. We had to meet said fogies at 2, ordered at 1:20. To kick things off, my friend’s drink had a fruit fly doing the backstroke among filthy ice cubes. Then a lull in the excitement– no food at 1:45, 1:46, 1:47.no sign of our waitress until she casually strolls by at 1:50 .“Want another drink?” We ask where the &^%$ the food was and that we needed the bill pronto. we were informed the ‘cook’ had ‘put the buns down’…Perfection takes time I guess. I was ready to slap a 10 down for my drink(I tried hard not to look at the ice cubes) when we were presented with our majestic veggie burgers, the freezer burn was grilled expertly and the feta had that great texture one would find in an old kitchen sponge. I got about 3 bites of my veggie burger which was slathered in the disgusting bbq sauce I requested to be taken off. I wrapped some french fries in a napkin, we paid the bill and bolted. The fries weren’t bad and tasted a lot better coming out of my purse on a boiling hot day than in this log cabin nightmare. I think it’s fair to say the fogies dining at the Sheraton had the last laugh. I think you are better off visiting the serial killer wax museum next door and licking the dust off the Ted Bundy figurine for a tastier, quicker, and more satisfying meal.

Okay, for full disclosure, I’m not a chain restaurant fan, don’t typically eat in them, and don’t often consider reviewing them, since it’s not my thing, but I was in Niagara Falls overnight, ate at this Montana’s, and feel compelled to share my experience. The service was good. No complaints. I made the mistake of eating on the patio/sidewalk dining area, and in this part of town, that doesn’t just mean the obnoxious sounds of Niagara’s tourist trap, it also means the sights of Niagara’s wannabe gangster thugs walking up and down the street looking for trouble. Maybe that shouldn’t reflect poorly on the restaurant, but I should’ve eaten inside. The real problem, however, was that I ordered a full rack of pork back ribs($ 30), something Montana’s supposedly prides itself on. While the bold BBQ sauce was great, and the little cornbread cake was fantastic, the quality of the meat was suspect. It’s hard to describe, but there was something seriously off with the meat quality. Never before have I tasted something that peculiar. It just didn’t taste right and the texture of the meat was not at all what I would’ve expected. It almost seemed processed, and if I wasn’t taking it off the bone myself, I’d swear that it was. I wish I could explain this better. Just something really strange about the ribs. It was a very good reminder of why I don’t eat at chain restaurants. Marketing leaves them over-priced and desire for maximum profit means lower quality food.
