Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

Absolutely filthy!!! Stopped in for a beer and a margarita. Bartender emptied garbage and then emptied a filter from the sink with used straws and drink garnishes. Never washed hands once and proceeded to handle clean glasses and serve drinks. Offered a patron a Bic pen OUT OF HER PONY TAIL to sign credit card slips!!! Feels like I am eating in a Burger King kitchen. Never again!!! Shame on you, Jimmy. Have some pride and self respect.

We were in this place the 2^nd week of September, 2015. What made it all so much more vivid how much was lacking was having eaten at the same chain in Myrtle Beach just a week earlier.
The place was incredibly loud. Makes one wonder how any people walk 2 steps into the entry and walk away. This in a room that was less than a third full.
Was asked for an inside or outside table, we said inside and was told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. Changed to outside and discovered maybe ¼th tables were being used. Our reaction was «What the ???»
Food was slow…
Food, once it came was generous… BUT a lot of not very good is still not very good.
The roast beef in my sandwich, was… hard to describe… cooked, not bad… but the flavor said «cheap cut»…
My recommendation? Don’t go… we were sorry as there appeared to be many interesting places close by…

Never had a Margarita before Jimmy buffets. Now I won’t have anything else. The nachos are where it’s at. Heaping pile. I’m a big boy and I had a hard time finishing them. Don’t belive the 2 star rating.

I am a huge fan of the margaritaville in Nashville so I asked my parents to come here for an early dinner. We waited a substantial amount of time for service, asked a question and was told we’d be given a prompt response but we saw the server running around while helping other guests and didn’t remember to get us an answer for fifteen minutes. The food took about 45 minutes (salad and two burgers) and wasn’t even very impressive at all. Very displeased with our visit here and will not be returning. Jimmy Buffet would not approve.

We visited this restaurant last August. The food was average at best and although we only had three in our party, two of the three meals were served cold (not great for a fish meal).
The service was fine although I got sick of the constant upselling.
I left a very honest review on a comment card and never heard a thing — not surprising.
There are much better restaurants in the area — suggest you try them if you’re looking for a good meal. The atmosphere is fun at Margaritaville — come for drinks and enjoy it but eat somewhere else and if you’re just out for food, skip this all together.

Waited for 15 minutes no one came. They have a lady on stilts entertaining kids and she kept popping balloons and making noises. My husband and I got up and walked out.

Don’t be fooled by the Margaritaville name, this is Jimmy Buffets flea market version. If you have ever been to the Las Vegas location you will be very disappointed. The décor is very odd, I felt like it was laundry day with a bunch of old t-​shirts hanging all over the place. The music was everything and anything but the traditional Buffet music. The food and drinks were acceptable. The real disappointment was the poor service and ripoff exchange rate. Do yourself a favor and avoid this garage sale.

I only had a drink there, but it was really good.
My server was so nice and very helpful, as I was asking her about shopping and things like an annoying tourist!
Try the Beer-​garita!

Okay place to eat! Safe choice if you’re not an adventurous diner. Ordered the pulled pork, bacon cheeseburger, chicken wings, and the souvenir cup 22 0z margarita while tasty, didn’t have much alcohol. Bill was almost $ 100 US with tip and taxes! Otherwise Great atmosphere here in Ontario! Typical tourist restaurant!

Great time! Waitress was extremely nice and friendly. I ordered a blood orange margarita and it was soooo good. Food was great too!

Nice place to visit. Stuff was very nice and accommodating. I had strawberry daiquiri and fish with fries. Drink was awesome and food was good as well. I enjoyed my visit.

We came here with friends. Drinks were good but as for the food? They were crap. My wife ordered chicken tenders, cmon. Overburnt chicken tender and it’s clearly frozen from the bag.
The only good food was bread and cheese.
I had Who’s to Blame drink, not bad.

Ok, no joke… fruit flies… fruit flied… FRUIT FLIES!
The bar was crawling with them. Get that under control. All you need to do is keep the counters and work spaces clean. I heard the Jimmy’s in the states is amazing so I was kinda shocked at what I experienced. Don’t get me wrong, the drinks were ok but the service was slow with more than half the location empty and there were a ton of servers so sorry I won’t be coming back. You need to start managing this place better.

The only good thing in this place is Nothing’s ;(. We’ve been waiting for over 20 mnt for the foods when starter also finally came the same time with the main course.

Terrible. Waitressing was horrible. Kids’ food arrived burnt and gross. After an hour our food still never came. Paid for our drinks and left. Don’t waste your time here.

Low expectations yield better results.
After reading a lot of bad reviews, I wasn’t disappointed at a half hour wait to get to the hostess. Not to be seated just to get to the hostess and ask for a table. We didn’t want to sit outside or on the rooftop so we were seated right away. Tamar introduced herself as our waitress. She was friendly and genuine. We had the volcano nachos which were great. Although the serving said for two to four persons, you could actually feed a family of ten! The food we ordered was very good too. And I love that they cater to children as well. There’s a woman on stilts making animal balloons for all the kids dining in. Best dining experience in Canada so far.

Came in for drinks, the selection is minimal and the bartender wasn’t too helpful when I asked what sort of wine they had. Overall just wasn’t impressed

Stopped in while waiting for a break in the weather for a helicopter tour. Not a lot of people around 3 pm. We ordered drinks. Waitress was friendly. The drinks didn’t seem to have a whole lot of alcohol. Good traditional Jimmy Buffet music as always. After 3 drinks and no buzz we took off.

Whoa. Surprised by all the über negative reviews here! I mean this place isn’t the most amazing spot ever, but it was a good place to grab frozen drinks with friends and drool over the nacho volcano ordered at the next table over.

I was in the Niagara Falls area for a sales meeting. In total we had 17 people from 13 of our regional offices that flew in for this meeting.
After a long day of travel for all, and once we had the entire group, we just wanted to grab a quick dinner and drinks somewhere casual. We walked a few blocks down the street from our hotel and came across Margaritaville. That’ll work.
There was a good amount of patrons but it wasn’t packed. We were seated fairly quickly but they needed to split up our large group into 2 tables. That wasn’t a problem as we figured it would speed up service. Boy were we wrong.
My table ordered 2 appetizers to share. It took more than 30 minutes for it to come out. Really? I’d understand if it were busy, but it wasn’t.
Our entrees took just as long even though most of us ordered salads. To make matters worse, our salads were not cold and somewhat warm! One of my coworkers ordered the same as me, Caesar salad, and after a few nervous bites, we both agreed that maybe it was in our best interest to stop eating. I couldn’t go hungry and therefore decided to order a cup of corn & crab chowder. I figured it’d be quick since they just have to spoon it into a bowl. But to be sure, I first asked the waitress if it would take long which she replied «no». A good 10 minutes later she brings out my soup and it was lukewarm. Fail!!!
The other half of our group shared the same experience… crappy service & horrible food. We were all relieved the next day that no one got food poisoning.
