A lot of the interactive things you have to pay money for on top of the ridiculous price. Most other interactive stuff is broken or uninteresting. Otherwise it’s just a bunch of reading and pictures that are not as good as the book. Really feels like something out of the nineties that has barely been kept up since then. Don’t waste your money on this.

Took my 11 year old son here while at Niagara because he loves the Guinness records books. Cost us $ 20 with a AAA discount. Totally unimpressive. Most of the exhibits are pictures that you can see in the books. There’s a few lame interactive exhibits and that’s it. Save your money or try Ripley’s instead.

I paid $ 40 to walk into a place that was trapped in an earlier decade. I don’t know what I was expecting, but this place was boring, with zero interesting interaction. Just wanted to have some fun on Cliffton Hill — chose the wrong place!

Only mildly interesting. There are lots of things here that are only replicas or representatives of world record items, so don’t go expecting to see the worlds largest bandaid or anything. And some seem outdated. But the pieces on extreme weather, science and other various tidbits that cover the walls are interesting. But not worth the price. Get your money’s worth and take your time.

We went with 3 adults and a 10 y/o. We found it very interesting. Yes it’s almost all reading but even my dad who doesn’t like reading enjoyed it and was interested. The 10 year old in our group also stayed interested although I wouldn’t recommend it for children any younger. Could have been a little cheaper for what it actually contained(mostly pictures).

I toured the museum with the family. There are a few activities/exhibits that one must pay to see. A few props in the museum feature some nice oddities. The highlights are the various video displays, standing next to the tallest man who ever lived, and standing on a scale comparing the waist size with the world’s heaviest man. Many things were just placards with various world records. I think I would have had more enjoyment reading the book than walking through the museum. This was more of a meh! I’ve seen better. Move on, folks.

Interesting place to go take a look at world record holders in random things like movies and natural disasters. Somewhat interactive which is nice. If you have a CAA card you get 25% off so make sure to show it if you have it. Overall it was interesting but not exactly a «must see» exhibit.

Interesting museum but much of the museum was reading descriptions of events with illustrations. I expected more exhibits of actual memorabilia from these events.

this was fun and interesting to go through. of course it’s mostly reading but it wasn’t bad.

The one thing that I still remember from my visit here, was the electric chair. They have a replica of an old electric chair, like, the first one ever used. And in it is a dummy. There’s a slot you can put a token in to see how it works. So you’re thinking its just going to go through the motions while some guy with a Ben Stein voice narrates it for you. Um… no! As soon as you pull the lever, the dummy in the chair lunges forward while violently convulsing, screaming his head off, meanwhile there is a ridiculous amount of smoke coming out of the top of his head. I laughed so hard, after I got done crapping myself. I will never forget that. It made the rest of the visit, reading all the boring facts, worth while.

Compared to the nearby Ripley’s Museum up the street, this one is not worth the 15 bucks a person that you will spend to just read a bunch of Guiness facts on walls and see bad displays of records broken. It is just a series of rooms that are filled with pictures and writing about the facts and not any real substance to the museum. The price is a rip off and there are so many other things ot do in this area that this is a real disappointment. You can spend the money at the arcade and have a better time!
