Just ok, overpriced for what it is. Service was good but the buffet was lackluster. Bacon, French toast and waffles were all soggy. But again, this is a hotel buffet… what can you expect. A hotel this nice you would expect better food though.

Typical hotel continental breakfast with bacon and eggs. Highlight is made to order omelet. Service is very good. Based on food quality, rating will be three stars however taking into account the price I’m downgrading one star.

I absolutely love this place. Every time my husband and I stay at the Hilton Fallsview we go to the Grand Caffe because we usually get a free breakfast voucher for at least one of us. The breakfast is worth the price considering you can have some very mediocre breakfasts in the area for the same price… and it won’t be a buffet. The food selection is not 4 stars, but more on the side of 3 stars for sure. It has your typical selection of breakfast items: –eggs –omelettes –cereals –breads –yogurts –fresh fruit –pastries –bacon and under-cooked sausages as mentioned before However, the service is just fantastic. We are always promptly greeted, seated and served by a friendly waitor/waitress for our beverages. The beverage selection is great, and we absolutely love the coffee they serve. It’s nice to sit and have a lazy breakfast with the sun beaming through the many windows. It’s definitely worth the price(or if you have a breakfast voucher even better).

Stayed 2 nights at the Hilton and received vouchers as part of our package, otherwise I would have never bothered eating here. It’s 20 $ a person and there isn’t the hugest selection, but some good basics for breakfast. Lots of cereal, fresh fruit, yogourt, bagels, bread and 2 types of cream cheese(plain and garlic), jams, english muffins, regular muffins, waffles, french toast croissants and pastries that are always a little too dry. As for hot plates, sausages, bacon, tater tots and there are scrambled eggs that are already done, or you can go to the egg station and have a chef prepare eggs any way you like infront of you. I liked that I could pick all my ingredients for an omelette, place them in a cup and hand it over to the cook. Or you can have freshly cracked eggs as well. Note the omelettes are made with a pre-prepared liquid egg mix. Lines get long to get your eggs done and the chefs are usually handling 3 pans at a time, I noticed many omelettes were slightly overdone, burnt so you have to keep an eye on yours and warn the cook if you want it a certain way. It would be faster and look more professional if they were using gas stoves, these were all electric burners. On our first morning, the breakfast sausages were undercooked, as was the bacon, and the morning after, everything was overcooked. Needless to say, food wasn’t consistent but the service was awesome. Our servers were quick to get our drinks and refills without asking. I loved that beverages are included. Choose from all kinds of juices(orange, apple, cranberry, pineapple, tomato), chocolate milk, regular milk, coffee, tea etc. Worth a shot IF this breakfast is included in your hotel package, otherwise move along.

Same food as at the Watermark buffet — maybe a little fresher. Table was not well-cleaned, and the layout of the restaurant is very poor, with no good area to set up the buffet, it’s also very cramped.

This is the breakfast buffet in the Hilton Fallsview hotel. It turns into Pranzo, an Italian restaurant, for lunch and dinner. The food was good. The eggs were actually exceptional, but it didn’t wow me overall, and was, in my opinion, very overpriced.(It IS the Hilton) Additionally, the process to get in and get a table was labyrinthine. Didn’t dislike it, no complaints with food, if I stayed here again for a few days is probably go again, just because it was in the hotel… but not something I’d go out of my way for.
