Haptic Health and Chiropractic was opened in Newmarket by chiropractor Judith McCann.

Our mission is to help you restore, maintain, and achieve optimum physical function through evidence based practice.

Our vision is to be a positive force for the improvement of health in the community, through individual treatment plans that empower patients to move forward with their health, and by inspiring healthcare workers to work together to create a healthcare team patients can rely on.

Finally, our idea of success is to see each individual strive for the World Health Organization’s definition of health: «health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-​being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.»

Business Owner

Judith McCann, owner and chiropractor at Haptic Health and Chiropractic, has been living in York Region for over 15 years. After going to Queen’s University in Kingston for Kinesiology, and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto to become a chiropractor, she decided to move back and open Haptic Health and Chiropractic in Newmarket.

Newmarket and the surrounding communities have a lot to offer. The nearby trails and conservation areas are perfect for runs, hikes, and walks. Additionally, Dr. McCann enjoys simplistic home workouts that use body weight, elastic bands, and weights. She believes that health and fitness does not have to result in an extravagant expense.

In the community, Dr. McCann considers herself lucky to have become a member of the York Highlands Chorus. She also looks forward to her weekly volunteering opportunity at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
