Specialties
Studio 96 Designs provides elegant and classic gift baskets that are sure to please the most discerning customer. From gourmet goodies, to local treasures to the relaxing spa elements, our baskets are meant to be savoured, and a feast for all the senses. Everthing is meant to compliment, and even the base or container itself is chosen carefully to ensure a second life once the goodies are gone. Every aspect of our packaging is meant to be recyclable.
Live flowers are part of some of our desigsns, and the Studio is more than happy to design floral arrangements for a special event, weddings or gala dinner.
History
Established in 1996.
Studio 96 Designs originally started out as a papercrafts business back in 1995. I was working for Lightheart and Company as their window display /gift basket designer at the time, and caught the entrepreneur bug (it runs in the family). I left the company at the start of 1997 to start my own venture, carrying on what I had been taught at my job… designing and making up gift baskets. Soon after, I received my first wedding request. From 1998 on, we have been creating floral arrangements and bouquets for weddings.
Ever since that first wedding, we have taken on events from as little as 2 to close to 1000 people. We have been asked to participate in many cultural celebrations, a true testimony to the Lower Mainland’s cultural diversity. Our experiences have included several kinds of special events, Christmas décor and even romantic anniversary surprise dinners.
We look forward to being part of your event.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
I’ve always been fascinated by the creative process. It is so very rewarding to see a design on paper, or a mere idea that’s floating in the ether to bring it to life.
Much about me is tied into the history of the Studio, that there is honestly not much more to say, other than I got started on the pathway to a creative lifestyle rather late.
I was supposed to be into Sciences, but rather I inherited my father’s creative bug. I studied at Langara College in the Art in Merchandising Program for two years, and then was at Lightheart and Company before the studio was born.
Customer service is always first and foremost, and I strive for Gold Star Service here at the Studio. Because without customers, I wouldn’t be anywhere.
