I took my car in for some minor scratches after grazing a pillar in my parking garage. The cost to fix it was going to be over $ 1000. Since the scratches were so minor, Dean said that he could polish and paint it and I could decide if I was happy with the result. Needless to say, it looked MUCH better after the work was done and I was extremely pleased! When Dean brought me outside to look at the finished product, I even forgot which side of the car the scratches were on because I could no longer see them! And the best part… It was all done at NO CHARGE. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

This place continues to excel in the work they do. I returned to this place for a free detailing after a year and Dean was generous enough to honor this offer. I asked if I could pay extra for a wax and he even threw that in. I dropped off the car and they gave me a ride home and back. They worked on the car for 4 hours and the car looked brand new after. I’m very pleased with them. They are very helpful, professional, friendly and customer oriented. I’m writing this not because I got a free detailing but really want to recommend them since they are so good and it’s important to support good and honest business!

I searched the internet for a reputable place to repair my ICBC claim. I found this site and all the reviews were highly rated, so I went with that. Tony and the staff are very friendly folks, so easy to talk to. Tony set me up with a courtesy car while my car was in their shop. I just picked up my car and it looks new inside and out. It smells new too. I’m so happy! I’ll definitely recommend New West Auto Collision to all my friends.

Brought my car there to get some panels repainted. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they did a fantastic job. I couldn’t tell the difference between what they painted and the rest of the car. They even cleaned my car, inside and out, and gave me a discsount card for Petro Canada!
Only downside is that it’s hard to park there.

I wanted to say how amazingly happy I am and always have been about your services. To those that don’t know, I have been to you guys 4 times now. And will always come to you. My door was broken and entered, my window b&e, my rear tail light hit and run, and recently a head on collision.
You have been my saviors for many years but this time was above and beyond. I had a limited amount of coverage from the accident and I think it was 15 425.00 and Dean searched high and low to help me by finding used parts, fixing some parts instead of replacing and saving every where he could so my car would not be a right off. I got a courtesy car and after, over a month of taking care of my baby blue, 15 025.00 later.. I’m back in my ford escape!
You cannot tell how happy I am because you weren’t there when my kids, who were in the accident, saw the truck. They were scared of driving and scared they would never see their car again, but more importantly they KNOW that this car protected them in an accident. They know that seat belts are very important, and they know that some one was watching out for us.
Thank you everyone at New Westminster Collision, now Car Star. You have no idea how much my kids worry about driving after an accident and now how safe they feel with their car back. My heart thanks you so much for easing their troubles and saving us during our time. I will always come to you. Worst customer service ever! Called them to find out if they could do the detailing on the car scratches, whoever is on the other side of the phone sounded very impatient and said they are short staffed, which I completely understand, and was not planning to waste their time on the phone. It was only not even a minute phone call, he asked how bad were the scratches, I have just begin to tell the guy about it but he just hang up on me! How rude!!!

I came here for an icbc claim and I can’t say enough positive things about this place. All the staff were very friendly, they were professional and very knowledgeable. They provided a very nice courtesy car and kept me updated by phone calls throughout the entire process. Best thing they completely detailed my car after fixing it. It was amazing! It had never looked so clean. I will only be going here for any work in the future. Seriously the best place. Highly recommended!

Great service at a competitive price! They not only fixed a dent at no extra charge, but they also cleaned the interior and exterior of the car before I picked it up. Nice touch!
Parking is a little tight, and they aren’t open on the weekend but I’ll definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.

Amazing service I am absolutely blown away by these guys. I’ve taken my car in a few times and the latest was for my window which was broken in some place preventing it from rolling up and down. They told me Manufacturers don’t make that part anymore (I drive an old 93 Buick regal) so they had to find one from a scrapyard. I had to go back a couple weeks later to get the part put in. When I brought it in, they gave me a ride home (which they always offer) and I got a call a couple hours later with some bad news. The part they received had been broken when it was pulled out of the car at the scrapyard in the same place mine was broken. Complete waste of time, yes but it wasn’t their fault so normally I would have to pay for the labour they put in. Which was taking my window apart, putting it back, taking it apart again and putting it back again as well as calling around searching for a window replacement. At least 5 hours If I’m not mistaken. Anyway it would have costed me way too much for nothing so when I got there I guess the owner, Jim heard of this and didn’t want me to pour any more money into my crappy car so they didn’t charge me a thing! They are very honest people. I highly recommend! Thanks again!

Jim is great and stands behind his work. My whole family takes their vehicles to him to get work done. He has done everything from paint to window repairs and fixed my my bumper when it was hit. I have always been impressed with his work and his fair pricing. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

New West Auto Collision provided outstanding service.
They removed a large amount of rust damage, reconstructed the affected areas and repaired a dent. Upon inspection, a lot more rust was detected. All the needed work was done (much more than anticipated at initial estimate). In spite of this, my original quote was honored.
Before deciding on New West Auto Collision, I went to another well known auto repair shop nearby and was quoted triple that of New West Auto Collision. They certainly delivered.
I was extremely happy with the service and workmanship — I highly recommend this business and will not hesitate to return.

I am really glad that I took my ICBC claim to this location. Partly out of convenience as when I had originally called they offered to come and pick my car up for me. They have really nice courtesy cars (and right beside the Ford dealership that I bought my car at).
My car was ready ahead of schedule and when I picked my car up it was detailed and looked & smelled better than when I bought it.
About a week after I picked up my car, the business called me to see if I was happy with the work that they did and if there was anything else they could do for me. The business is a family owned and not a big chain. But they care about the quality of work that they put out.
My original review was left at the wrong business as similar names so I have rectified the situation.
