This motel is located on Prince of Wales near Hunt Club, about a 10 minute drive from the airport and 15 minute drive to downtown if you know your way around Ottawa. We decided to stay here due to its promotion via . Upon entry there is a somewhat windy entrance, so take note of that. The concierge was very nice, and the check-in process was very smooth. You get a rather large key to unlock your room(which by the way is the bottom keyhole, not the top). The room itself was very spacious for the price we paid($ 96), and the washroom was clean. My only complaint was that the sink was separate from the washroom itself, so I would be exposed if I need to brush my teeth, dry my hair, wash my face, etc. I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again.

This is a reasonably nice place to spend a night, if nothing fancy. I noted a few minor issues, but nothing serious. We would gladly stay here again, when in the area.

My parents often stay at this motel when they come for visits. I’ve stayed a night there with them but often end up there with them visiting. The grounds of the motel are nice and we’ve never had a problem with the staff. Even now that I don’t live in the south end of the city my parents still love to stay here and don’t mind the drive into the downtown. The value is pretty good. The motel isn’t far from Carleton University and not that long of a drive from downtown but closer to the airport. All of the rooms come with mini fridges and they’re all quite a large size. The location is quite quiet and I’ve never been there when it’s been very full so there are no concerns about being kept up all night because of noisy neighbours. It’s a good place if you’re looking for a room under $ 100 that isn’t extravagant but close to the airport.
