I stopped by on the first hot spring day, and there was a single staff working. The line up was about 6 people, and she was able to take us all within a short period of time. I like the location of this DQ, and that you can drive up and order at the window, then enjoy your treat on a bench outside. I ordered a cookie dough blizzard as always and it was full to the top and then some! I have been to locations where the cup is only filled ¾ of the way, which is pretty annoying when you order a small and pay $ 5 — it’s just cheap. I liked that I got what I paid for, it was just what I needed on that day, and the woman working was super nice to all the customers in line. I think this is the top DQ location for me!

When I hear about the«good ol times» from my parents, I think about this place! Driving up in a convertible, with the top down on a warm summers evening with the family to go get a cold, smooth ice cream cone. Line ups are long in the evening, but it is a good way to make a few friends! The only thing that is missing is a drive in movie theater close by!(I wish)

This retro outside DQ was open last week during the warmer weather, and not that it’s snowing in April again, it’s closed back up. Expect it to be open when the temperature hits +6 or so. While they serve the usual DQ faves,(blizzards, shakes, cones, hot dogs) the fact that this spot is only open in the summer makes it extra special. I always look forward to coming here because it means summer is on the way. The staff here are beyond amazing. They always manage to keep their cool, even when the weather in insanely hot and the lineup is super long. Tip? While you’re in line think about what you want so you don’t tie up the line. As Coy mentioned, getting there is a bit of a challenge. I promise you — it’s worth it :)

Wow, I didn’t know these walk up Dairy Queens existed anymore!!! 3 stars from me on a small Dairy Queen? That’s right bitches, 3 stars! This is a throwback to a time way before me and I honestly appreciate it. Line up, get your damn ice cream and go chill out somewhere. There’s none of that ice cold crappy enclosed chain feel and you’re outside! The lines move fast and the people working are really nice. Be warned, getting into this place by car is a PAIN in the ass. If you’re coming from Baseline it’s tough. You’ll know what I mean when you try to make the turn… because you can’t! You’ll have to back track unless someone knows a better way in.
