Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jared began his career with the accounting firm of Evancic Perrault Robertson in Port Alberni, BC in 1994. He obtained his designation as a Certified General Accountant in 1999 and became a partner with Johnston, Cross & Co., Certified General Accountants in January, 2002. In 2005 Jared joined Greg Sabo to form the partnership of Sabo, Cross & Co. servicing Nanaimo, Parksville and Port Alberni.

Jared has more than 20 years experience in tax planning for small to medium sized businesses. Jared provides specialized tax planning regarding incorporation, income splitting, corporate reorganizations, succession planning, the purchase and sales of businesses, and estate planning.

Jared is active in the community including the Nanaimo Minor Hockey Association and the Nanaimo Minor Baseball Association. He has also sat on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver Island Symphony since September 2012.
