History

Established in 1956.

Brechin Lanes began as a small, six-​lane bowling alley in the Brechin area of Nanaimo in 1956. As bowling grew in popularity, a decision was made to expand to a larger 16-​lane facility in 1979. Changes continue, having added computerized scorekeeping, a top-​quality sound system, glow bowling, expanded food and beverage offerings and recent extensive renovations. Brechin Lanes is a locally owned, family-​run business that regularly supports community initiatives. We are one of Nanaimo’s longest-​running businesses.
