We were disappointed. The special was roast beef dinner. There were three of us at the table of six that had it and the gravy was stone cold. Request to warm it up… fries and veggies were very hot and gravy was warmish. Not good. Chocolate pudding seemed to be the instant kind. Taco salad was outstanding. Service was fine. Would we go again? No.

Solid food, friendly service. Only seating options are chairs and tables. I was a little surprised at some of the prices for a diner in rural Ontario — north of $ 20 for salmon, $ 16 for chicken souvlaki. *Very* large portions. You’ll be glad that you keep glass and metal containers in the car for taking leftovers home from rests(we keep a bag of them in the truck at all times. Saves the environment and saves us time because you can warm them up in whatever they are in. Try doing that with styrofoam).

Food was outstanding, service was great!!! The price was very reasonable considering the amount of food you get.

This is a great spot for breakfast just outside of the charming town of Mount Forest. It’s exactly what you think a diner in rural Ontario should be. Friendly people, no frills traditional breakfast fare. Decent coffee. Bacon + two eggs + toast + home fries(actually more like a hash and it was delicious) …all came to $ 5.99. On this Sunday morning it was packed, and it’s obvious why.
