Ate at Mac’s Tavern 2 nights. Quick friendly and prompt service. Food is good quality standard pub fare but pricey with smallish portions.

My review is somewhat limited as I didn’t stay overnight at the McIntosh Inn but mainly experienced their restaurant «The Orchard».
The hotel looks like a functional small town business hotel with a little conference center, restaurant and bar. Common area like the reception, corridors and rest rooms are clean and well maintained.
I had lunch at «The Orchard» restaurant which offered a chicken stew in a bread bowl, a sort of variation on the pot pie theme. It was good and welcome on a cold December day. Price are fair and service was convivial.
