Sweet Isabelle offers decorated gourmet shortbread cookies, in bouquets or by unit, delicious cupcakes, and cookie decorating workshops for kids and adults, at our boutique in Montréal.

Those of you who know me know that I don’t skimp on the quality of my ingredients! My cupcakes are always fresh, baked daily with the best possible ingredients (orange, lemon and lime zest, fresh raspberries, fresh basil). I use Barry’s dark chocolate and cocoa. I use an exceptional quality of Madagascar vanilla. I make my own lemon curd and sugar fudge. I use only butter, no oils, no artificial flavours, no preservatives or powdered sugar. My cupcakes are therefore soft and not too sweet. Many clients have assured me that they are the best cupcakes in Montréal… you be the judge!

History

Established in 2010.

Sweet Isabelle was born out of my desire to have fun, entertain and spread wonderment and joy!

I chose shortbread cookies for my designs as these are chic, refined and unique — much more than just cookies! Seeing as how they are harder to work with than egg-​based cookies, it’s truly a challenge for me to offer these to you in lollypop form! My greatest pleasure is to constantly reinvent my range of sweet and salty shortbread cookies for various seasons and events.

As you can imagine, I use only the best and freshest ingredients; my products must taste as good as they look! And better, even!

The shop I opened in December 2010 on Promenade Fleury has become a family business, where I share my happiness with my adult children, the love of my life as well as many of the neighbourhood’s students, with whom it is my great pleasure to work with!

Isabelle Quinn, qui me rappelle une jeune Charlotte Rampling, n’en est pas à un «départ» près. Après avoir travaillé comme gérante de boutiques de vêtements pour hommes, courtière en valeurs mobilières et formatrice à la pige (principalement pour le compte des Caisses Desjardins du Québec), elle est depuis un an et demi maître à bord de Sweet Isabelle, une pâtisserie qui sort vraiment du moule. Comme quoi plusieurs chemins mènent à soi…
