this club would get a higher rating, but they need to adjust their security measures. hard to relax and have a good time when you have entitled goons pacing around conspicuously across the dancefloor all night and barking at patrons for not toeing the line. bouncers patrolling and staring down patrons really undoes any efforts taken by the club to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere. i kept my interaction with the bouncers to a minimum, but their behaviour and general attitude toward other clients was unsettling. combined with the cold and stark ambiance, this club is not very welcoming.

Ok. Been here when it first open so it reminds me of good ol’ time… Except that it was the coat check, not a dance floor. Anyway, music is playing. Good music tho. Damn good music as I’m writting this. First thing first: It’s not the same sound system. Obviously my ears detect distortion. Fucking good music! Too bad it sounds a bit offset. Crowd is enjoying it but I want to go upstairs already. Young people dancing. It’s refreshing. I don’t think they’ll go upstairs at 2 am because they just don’t look like the usual crowd. Yeah, Stereo is opening at 2 am tonight and I’m not used to that. Sound is too loud unfortunately. Floor is concrete and is you ever dance on a concrete floor before, you know what it is. Oh well, this place will be perfect for chilling before the Stereo… Specially when it’s –20C… Did I mentioned the music is awesome?
