Do not get waxed here! I got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed with terrible results. I told the woman that I did not want to have the top of my eyebrow waxed. She then explained to me why I needed to have it done. I repeated that I didn’t want to have it done. She said «ok» and rolled her eyes. Then, she waxed the bottom part of my brow and before I could stop her, she puts wax on the top of my brow. After it’s done, she takes out a mirror and says, «see, I told you you needed it. Don’t you like it?» What the hell! She does the other brow. At this point, I should has left but I wanted to get my lip done too. She did it. And two minutes later I could sense that something was wrong with my skin. Well, ten hours later, I look like I’m wearing goggles because a one inch (not exaggerating) line of red, swollen, and bumpy skin still surrounds my eyebrows and a piece of skin got ripped off my EYE LID. As for my mouth, another one inch line of red, swollen, and bumpy skin and this one completely covered in tiny pimples full of pus. I have been waxing for ten years and have NEVER had such a terrible experience. Avoid this esthetician!!!

Not going back. I bought the $ 40 LivingSocial deal for the Complete Manicure and Pedicure… Yeah, ok. Hate to see what the Express looks like. Anyway, I made my appointment earlier, but when I got there only 1 girl was working. I didn’t have much time, and in the past I always got my mani and pedi done simultaneously, but whatever. The girl leads me to the back and asks me to sit on the waxing table. But I am getting a pedicure. «Don’t you have a water bath?» She takes a water bath and puts it on the waxing table. «Don’t you have chairs?» Nope, no chairs. Got my pedicure while sitting on a waxing table. No magazines, no chit chat, just me playing Candy Crush on my phone in the most awkward leg-​bent position. Then she hands me a selection of plastic nails with different colours on them to choose my colour. There was ONE light pink and about 8 blues. Horrible colour selection. I get my manicure after, and when she finishes, she asks me to wait and wave around my hands for a while. «Don’t you have a fan or a dryer?» «No, only for gel». Ok… I waited about 5 minutes and my nails obviously got screwed up but it had been 90 minutes and I had to go. That was yesterday. Today my fingernails and toenails are both screwed up. Not going back.
