History

Established in 2013.

I come from a traditional Gujarati home, where my mother would cook for our family everyday. My father, my brother and I would get so excited when she would yell out that dinner was ready, we would stop whatever we were doing to run over to the dining room table. My mother would create such mouth watering dishes from recipes that were passed down from her mother and her mother before that.

When I was a young boy and would get into some mischief, my mother would punish me, not by sending me to my room or cutting off my television privileges, but instead forcing me to help her in the kitchen preparing dinner. While the other kids were playing in the park, I was chopping garlic, ginger, and onions. I hated every second, until I tasted what I helped create. This is how I discovered my passion for cooking and am forever grateful to my mother for showing me around the kitchen. This restaurant is dedicated to her, my mother, Panna Patel for teaching me everything I know.
