Food: The pulled pork sandwich is amazing! The meat is cooked to perfection, enough tendon but still holds its consistency, mixed with just enough sauce and accompanied by a small amount of lettuce, just enough to keep the bun moist until the last bite. The addition of lettuce also adds an extra«crunch» factor at each bite, DELICIOUS! Service: Quick, nice, and gave tons of napkins for the drippings hihi Price: Well worth the price!

I attended Monkland village’s yearly festival and immediately zoomed to this food truck due to from previous reviews. Also I’m truly a sucker for pulled pork sandwiches. The price-tag was decent, only $ 6! So I grabbed one and got some lemonade to go with it… and disappointed would be an understatement after my first bite. Sure it looked appealing with lots of meat but the taste/sauce was pretty plain to me. It lacked character and emotion… ultimately I felt forced to eat so mediocre and once I ended up halfway into the sandwich… look at that… no more meat… just lots of salad leafs though? I’ve had a lot of pulled pork in my life and this didn’t hold its ground at all. And the lemonade? It was pretty watered down. This was shameful. I consequently helped myself to some homemade lemonade down the street at Ben & Jerry’s… which was made completely in front of me. Delicious… Perhaps a bad day but not a good experience. All in all, a solid 2.

Just had the big turkey drumstick, very worth the 8 $(taxes included). It was gigantic and the barbecue sauce on it was amazing. Don’t forget to keep the big bone if you have a dog.

BESTFOODTRUCKBARNONE! not only is it truly inexpensive but the portions are huge! they will fill you up quite fast. love their pulled pork sandwich except the measly piece of lettuce. i’d rather have coleslaw than an iceberg lettuce leaf. their turkey drumstick is pretty amazing too. definitely makes you feel like fred flintstone munching on that bone.

5 stars based on that great pulled pork! For the price you get a nice generous sandwhich. The pork isn’t overly saucy and melts in your mouth. Perfect balance of flavors on the seasoning. Would recommend!

As most of you must do, I was watching the food network when this food truck popped onto my screen. I’ve always wondered whether the featured food is actually as good as the hosts make them out to be. I’m happy to say that I stumbled upon this gem while walking down Monkland. Without hesitation, I grabbed myself a pulled-pork sandwich. I fell in love the moment I sank my teeth into that beast. As has been pointed out, grab a fork — it helps! Might as well take a stack of napkins while you’re at it!

With a name like theirs, the pulled pork sandwich is the more-than-obvious choice. I got mine outside the Just for Laughs festival, and it was really, really good. Nice portion size and very tasty. My only problem is that I want another one — but first I have to check out the food truck competition.

I tried this place for lunch today and got a lentil salad and a pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich was really good and they did not skimp on ingredients. The meat itself was tender and moist and overall I really liked the sandwich. The salad was a little on the bland side but still pretty good. Service was also pretty quick which is another plus for this place.

From the crew from La Salle à Manger, the trailer that is Pas d’Cochon dans mon Salon. These guys use charcoal grilling to deliver some great BBQ. They also offer some oysters and a few other items for some variety. They were one of the first«trucks» present last year during the festival run and have come back for some more — although their lack of a true truck prevents them from being part of the trial run in Ville-Marie. Their pulled pork sandwich is what they are known for so of course I would have to try one. What a beast of a sandwich this thing is. Huge portion of pulled pork, covered with a sweet tangy barbecue sauce and stuffed in a bun. Quite honestly, you pretty much need a fork to lighten the load before biting down on the sandwich proper unless you’re cool with getting BBQ sauce all over yourself in public. The pork itself is quite tender — it just falls apart as one would expect from great pulled pork. The BBQ sauce has a nice balance between sweetness and tanginess which I appreciate and the bun does a great job of soaking up all that sauce. Well done all around.
