A stroll through it’s fall foliage is settling enough. Almost soft-pedalling the promise of the fortcoming autumn with degrees of color variations of trees lining the many trails. I believe there’s at least 2 entry points. The first driving west bound on Gouin Blvd leads to the farm house area. Purposely appointed barnyard animals are at view for family visitors. There’s feeds available to buy for an interactive experience. The later gate takes you to the beach area. A very short walk from the parking lot. As we came at the end of summer, we did not sunbathe or swim.

It’s a park for all seasons. We ski here in the winter and we bathe here in the summer. I don’t have much to add to what the other reviewers said(they’ve covered it) but here are some tips: — There’s a sweet spot in early summer before the young’uns have been released from school. The beach is deserted and amazing. We went in late May — it was such a great day. — Arrive EARLY in the morning in summer or winter. Parking can be beastly difficult. — The skiing is GREAT for all levels. I was a total novice the first time we came and I had no problems. There are a couple of little hills on the more difficult trail — great for learning. — Winter. Lodge. Cocoa. Fire. AMAAAZING. Do it.

Love this place for relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, playing and enjoying a beautiful spring, summer or fall day or night. Bring a guitar and some friends and make it memorable. Absolutely worthy place to make a weekly gathering of friends and/or lovers. This is a must for any lover of nature. Summertime is the time and place to come here and enjoy the«sand, sex and sun“_ Serge Gainsbourg.

Excellent beach«in the city». Clean water to swim in, with boat rentals and a wide beach with mostly soft sand. Really enjoy coming here, and the price is reasonable at $ 9 for parking plus $ 4.50/adult. Kids(5 years and under) are free. Today, the bonus was the Gourmand Vagabond food truck on site, which was generally underappreciated, but I was very happy they were there. All that’s missing for 5 stars are clean, permanent bathrooms(port-o-potties just don’t do this location justice) and a regular snack bar. Otherwise, I’m pretty pleased.
