I tried to make an appointment here for my wedding and they were rude and not accommodating. I called another salon who offered to meet me at a more convenient time and I’m going to them instead.

Le salon en general est tres agreable, on se sent entre bonnes mains: coiffeur, coloriste, estheticienne. Ma coloriste Marianne Sicari, specialiste en meches blondes est tres talentueuse. J’y vais pour la competence et le resultat impeccable. En plus, pas de bla bla obligatoire et de questions impersonnelles, que des meches! Elle vous ecoute et prend en compte vos besoins, sans stress ni pression. Le seul mauvais cote, on doit se secher et coiffer les cheveux nous même!

I also have rather curly hair and went to see Matthieu. He was wonderful, really sweet, and knew exactly how to cut curly hair and showed me how to style it. It’s bit expensive but he was completely worth it.

I have very curly hair and have had more bad cuts/​trims/​fringe fiascoes that you can shake a stick at, but I have finally found a fab hairdresser here in Montréal: Mathieu. He is funny, can hold a conversation in either one of our official languages and he praises my curls and leaves me feeling like a princess. It’s a bit on the pricey side and the scalp massage sucked, so I am not giving 5 stars, but Mathieu himself deserves 5 stars: best haircut cut of my life!
