Resto plutôt ordinaire! Je suis allée à plusieurs reprises chez Oeuf et Boeuf de la rue Masson pour le brunch et je n’ai jamais été complètement satisfaite. L’endroit est sympathique et accueille les familles à bras ouverts. L’ambiance y est toujours animée, ça réveille si on né l’était pas déjà! Niveau bouffe, rien qui mérite un détour. On trouve, sur la carte, tous les déjeuners classiques en plus de plusieurs propositions plus uniques à l’endroit. Malgré ces suggestions de plats, la nourriture reste plutôt ordinaire. Ni mauvaise, ni vraiment bonne. Exception pour l’omelette au brie, champignon et jambon braisé! Pourquoi j’y retourne toujours? Parce que c’est à côté de chez moi, qu’il y a toujours de la place, que l’ambiance est décontractée, qu’on peut réserver et que la nourriture est OK. Bref, on né vit pas une expérience hors du commun, mais l’endroit est très convenable pour un brunch relax en famille.

Les oeufs bénédictines sur de la baguette, c’était top ! La viande du oeuf-​boeuf était bien cuite, et la sauce très bonne.
Par contre, on a attendu plus de 30mn pour avoir nos plats. C’était un peu long…

Food is OK after you finally get it. Waited 45 min for breakfast and my girlfriend’s food was cold. They said no problem, it will only take a minute to replace… took 10. Friendly but incapable service. 2nd try and last.

If I could give this restaurant 1 star I would.
Terrible service, I’m pretty sure our waiter was high. He was very awkward and kept coming over to our table and muttering under gis breath. Food is disappointing. How can you screw up basic breakfast is beyond me. The bacon and potatoes were cold and tasted like they had been out for a day… very stale.
The whole experience was very weird and disappointing. There are much better restaurant options on Mass on street that I would have rather gone to.

Décors chaleureux, nourriture délicieuse, service impeccable et ambiance relax font de ce restaurant LE restaurant à déjeuners à Montréal. Oubliez Cora et tous les autres et courrez ici.
Le prix des plats est très raisonnable et le choix est franchement impressionnant. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, même les enfants. Parlant d’enfants, l’immense salle de jeu au deuxième étage est vraiment fantastique. Attendre le repas ou relaxer après celui-​ci n’est plus un concert de «c’est bientôt fini?» ou de «on s’en va?».
Je né saurais recommander suffisamment ce délicieux restaurant.

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour le brunch le we passé. Bilan: sans plus.
Les assiettes sont correctes mais la qualité laisse à voir: le jambon braisé goutait l’eau, la salade n’était pas fraiche, les oeufs pochés étaient franchement pas bons. En revanche les pancakes étaient bons ainsi que le pain perdu.

Found this restaurant by accident but wow! I mean, this place is absolutely the best brunch I’ve ever had in Montréal! BEST!
Their portion is very big, but also taste great! My boyfriend and I order the avalanche and something else the waitress recommended.
Both of them are really really good, and we both really enjoyed them. (We are really picky when it comes to food!) their fresh juice is good too!
Their menus are only available in French, but the waitress are really nice and explained everything.
LOVE this restaurant, for like $ 13, you can only get a very small portion in other high rating brunch restaurant. But at this place, you can have a huge dish.
Also, their décor is really cozy and it was really quite in this restaurant, you don’t have to yell.
Will define rely come back with more friends!

Wow. If I had to recommend one restaurant in Montréal, this place would be it.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a brunch place before heading to the Biodome when we found this on Unilocal.They don’t have any English menus– which is a good sign since they’re not trying to attract tourists, just regulars who live in the area.
Neither of us spoke french, but luckily the manager came by and explained everything they had and what he would recommend for us. We ended up ordering the Avalanche since it had a little bit of everything and a must-​try Tourtière. We also ordered a steak + frites. Both dishes were delicious and at the end of the meal, we were very very satisfied.
The only complaint I would have is that the wait seemed longer than average. But then again, all the waiting time I spent in Canada seemed to be around that time. Just not used to it since dishes come out faster at the States.

À peine le brouillon des nuées dégagé que la Promenade Masson nous agace de ses sentiments du matin. Au coin de la 8e avenue, se dresse sans trop d’artifices, un appel aux fourchettes. Le décor n’est du tout théâtral. Ainsi se succède à sa justesse rustique, une ambiance de chalet et de bois. Les convives avec enfants né seront plus assujettis à l’exercice des regards acérés. Un espace de jeu sert de médiation.
Sa faune constituante se mesure par son caractère varié. Il y a autant de famille, de couple, du vieux monsieur générique avec son journal de Montréal que de jeune gens à la ‘mode courante’. Le temps de délai de service est plus que raisonnable considérant l’achalandage.
Le menu se veut plus de 8 pages, ce qui accroît ma nature hésitante. Somme toute, j’ai choisi l’oeuf en plaque avec sausisses et fève au lard. Mise en assiette suffisante mais réussie et portion bien gorgée. Quoique les compléments de fruits servis semble défraîchis. Le personnel est intuitif et bien vaillant. La tasse de café n’est jamais vide pour bien longtemps.

Lovely breakfast spot and so many menu choices! I settled on a crêpe while my dining partners enjoyed eggs benedict and a potato dish special to this restaurant.
The crêpe was very thin and light. Inside it was packed with thick-​cut savory apples, bacon, and cheddar cheese. But the stand-​out dish was the potato one. Home fries topped with veggies (asparagus, peppers, onions) and amaaaazing goat cheese. Like, I’ve had goat cheese, but this! It was tangy and creamy, but almost like ricotta in texture. And it was plentiful.
Quality maple syrup was served with our crepes. I poured half onto the dish and sipped the rest. Why isn’t this stuff served in the states? I’m tired of the thick corn-​syrupy crap. This was thin, sweet, and rich.

The braised beef melted in my mouth and went well with the eggs. I am no crêpe expert but they were a little tough. I prefer my crêpes a little softer and lighter. All in all, a good experience

Great service. Friendly to English speakers. Husband got a generous plate with a sampling of spicy sausage, bologna, smoked turkey, cheese, eggs, French toast, horseradish mayo, baked beans, potatoes, and an item known as creton (
). I had the Hawaiian omelette which came with potatoes and toast. Aside for the baked beans everything was superb. We got OJ that tasted freshly squeezed and both plates were garnished with small pieces of juicy seedless watermelon.

Menu du souper varié, bien exécuté, prix plus que raisonnable considérant la qualité des ingrédients. Service rapide et attentionné. La soirée s’est déroulée sans heurts et dans l’harmonie la plus parfaite, que dire de plus, sinon que je reviendrai encore et encore.
