Lola & Emily

Beautiful little store tastefully full of carefully curated homewares, pretty fashion by interesting designers, jewelery and bath products, lingerie… a girly little moment of bliss amidst all the boomcha on St Laurent.
The store is the imaginary apartment of Lola and Emily. The idea is for you to feel as comfortable here as you do in the houses of your friends who are different but both awesome and who let you go through (and leave with) their stuff. When it’s not too crowded it really succeeds and is a complete delight.

I looooove Lola and Emily!!! I’m not sure if it’s so much for the clothes, because usually I can only find a few things that I like on me, but the shop itself is just fun to visit. It’s kind of one of those «visiting someone’s bedroom» concepts, so there are clothes hanging in closets and armoires all around the sunny place, cute undies on display, beds (naturally!) and all kinds of accessories/​random stuff. I love Filippa K and Designers Remix, so I am happy that they carry those two brands. I got a pretty sexy Filippa K skirt last time I went.
The service is fab. Not much else I can say there. Parking can be a bit of a pain if you’re doing street at the wrong time, but I always manage to make someone wait in the car at an illegal spot nearby while I spend an inordinate amount of time shopping: P
The only bad thing is it’s tough to not just plop down on the bed and pretend like this is your bedroom, there’s so much cute sh*t in there.
