Oh boy, I am a huge fan of this place. I love the bubble tea here. It’s also called as the boba. Made from the tapioca balls. I visited this place during my last visit to Montréal when I couldn’t check in on Unilocal because of the lack of Internet. But this time I did. I tried the sweet chai bubble tea with 2% milk. Oh my goodness, it’s heaven in your mouth. I am a big fan of bubble tea, be it Argo tea, be it any other famous Filipino or Vietnamese tea shop. I cherish it. This small magnificent restaurant has its own well known reputation in the town. I heard its the local favorite and I do know why exactly because it is awesome. The prices are little bit high but it’s worth it. I love coming here again and again. I recommend this place from bottom of my heart. I think you won’t be disappointed by the taste. –SH

Tiny Chatime! With lines out the door at times. But drinks that won’t disappoint. Walking by daily on my trip I just couldn’t resist. I can honestly say is is the Best Boba spot in the chinatown vicinity of Montréal. Lots of menu options can be a bit overwhelming if it’s your first time. But einee miney miney mohhh… #trust

Same as the others in their chain. If this is your cup of tea, it’ll give you the fix needed.

The drink was decent but watery and we had to wait twenty minutes in the heat for it. They seemed disorganized bubbling around in their little spaces, running back and forth putting out about a drink every couple minutes. With every other store on the street selling the same thing we could have waited somewhere indoors with a/c for a better drink. Just no.

This is a tiny Chatime!!! It’s literally a hole in the wall and the line easily goes out the door! There’s maybe space for like three people in line and that’s it… I’ve visited many Chatime locations in different countries and I have to say this is pretty on par with all the other ones. Service is friendly and fast. The drinks are just as good as any other Chatime I’ve been to. I always get the Jasmine Milk Tea with Grass Jelly or Passion Fruit Green Tea, all with 30% sugar and 30% ice! Tasty treat but lacks a place to sit and chill!

Wouldn’t give me a glass of water with a drink I purchased. After all that they still over charged me for my drink. Not a place I would come back to. Other Chatime are great, though expensive. But this one has terribly bad service.

A Chatime location at Montréal Chinatown?! This is definitely a good addition in the area! At least I found most of the Chatime I had been to have a certain standard and I have yet experience a «bad» drink I have been to. This is for sure one of the smallest Chatime. Don’t expect to sit in and enjoy some AC as there is only a takeout counter and nothing else. As usual, the order was Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly less ice 30% sugar. The wait though a little long 15 minute+ but at least I don’t have to go around and look for Bubble Tea Place for a cold drink. Sometimes Chain or Franchise is a pretty good idea if no other good reliable indie business around.

Drinks are on point. Lots of flavors and options. Might be overwhelming if it’s the first time. The mango green tea is really good. Not too sweet even with regular sugar. I love gummy stuff, so I get the pearl/boba. You also have an option to get jelly. My friend also recommended the matcha green tea. I think it’s cool that you can control the amount of sugar and ice in your drink. Workers are pretty efficient. Expect a line because it is a small place. No tables or seats. Almost like a big stall.

Did not find any excellent Boba spots during our trip to Montréal. Chatime in Montréal’s Chinatown was the best spot we found. Just like Chinatown, this place is small. Open the door, and there is the counter for placing your order. No tables here. Service was on point. Drinks was fine. Boba tasted okay. Montréal is a large metropolitan city. There must be much finer options around. In Chinatown, though, Chatime is the place to go.

There is something about bubble tea for Asians. It’s like Tim Horton’s for much of the Canadian public. Or a good cappuccino for Italians. I can’t stand Tim Hortons but do love a good boba tea it seems more and more these days. The joy of Chatime is that you can personalize the level of sweetness and ice level. For me my go to drink is the Chatime roasted milk tea w grass jelly 50% sugar and no ice! This location is newer and very small. So small you basically open the door and rotate your body in a 45 degree axis to navigate the space. If you are standing inside there is only space for 4 – 5 people max. Compared to the St Catherine W location I find their boba is not as creamy. This is what Chatime is known for. Could be they are working out the kinks as it’s a new location. I’ll keep coming back to see if it gets better. Still my fave boba tea place based on you can order as you prefer which really rocks! Many places put way too much sugar or powder which reminds me of my whey protein shakes when I was a skinny boy working out from my college days! Not here however! Check it out! Chatime is the Starbucks of Bubble tea!
