Whim Event Coordination and Design offers full service wedding and event planning to the Greater Toronto Area. We also provide custom stationery, event décor and event management.

History

Established in 2012.

Whim Event Coordination and Design is the brainchild of Alisha Chadee and Michelle Brijlal. From an early age both Michelle and Alisha held strong interests in creating imaginative, unique, and fun events of all kinds. Michelle specializes in creating amazing graphic and print design, and Alisha specializes in event management. Together they have created and managed weddings, corporate and social events that have received rave reviews from attendees. No event is too big or small for this dynamic duo!

Business Owner

Alisha has lived in the GTA her entire life and has always been involved in event planning, from high school prom to charity events in her university days, to corporate events once she entered the workforce. Her friends describe her as funny, warm and unconventional. Alisha is a little silly, very detail-​oriented, and interested in creating beautiful and unique events. In her spare time, Alisha is usually road-​tripping, enjoying gastronomical delights, curled up with a good book, or kickboxing with Michelle.

Michelle is what most would describe as an innovative free spirit — lighthearted, bubbly, and creative juices always flowing. From her passion for graphic design stemmed MB Kreative, a creative suite that has spent over 5 years catering to the artistic needs of both corporate and private clients. Michelle is quirky, hard-​working and excels under fast-​paced pressure. When taking time for herself, Michelle can often be found on an adventure, reading a book or kickboxing with Alisha.
